C5 Brilliant Schemer

Amy moved back warily when she noticed the door open and gave a frigid stare to the person who emerged from the inside.

This person was over six feet tall, which is quite impressive. His body was dressed in a dark blue tailored suit that rivaled worldwide supermodels. He was the most attractive person she had seen. It's only that his physique emitted an inaccessible and cold aura that made people afraid to approach him.

Richard exited the car without looking at Amy. He just went to stare at the back of the car for a while and gave the damaged part a cursory touch.

There was a little hole with cracks around at the back window of the car that was hit by a stone, but it was not seriously damaged. It wasn't a big deal.

Richard finally turned after checking the car and coldly spoke to Amy.

"You're not interested in the money I gave you this morning, yet here you are. Are you looking for a reason to continue to annoy me? You're really a brilliant schemer." Amy was treated with contempt by Richard.

Amy's grievance the whole day completely broke out at this moment. She'd already had a run of bad luck, okay? Now, she was even called a schemer.

"I am a schemer? Hah, did I purposely wait for you here? How would I even know you were going to pass by here? What's more, do I know you? Are you incredible? I believe you're insane! What makes you think I'm going to provoke you? What a torment!" Amy reprimanded him fiercely, unconcerned about her image. She stormed away violently as she finished speaking.

Today was a total misfortune; she had run and come across all the undesirable things. Was she guilty of some sort of transgression? She's really miserable, encountering a lot of bad luck today.

With a cracking sound, Amy scolded Richard. The driver was genuinely concerned for her. She truly did not fear death at all. In the Imperial Capital, who was not scared of the Carter family's young master? This woman, though, had grazed the knife's edge. She did not even glance at the driver when he signaled her with a wink.

Richard's visage was becoming increasingly gloomy. In his entire life, he had never been scolded by anyone.

He did, however, find it very interesting to be scolded by someone. He had no idea if something was wrong with his brain.

Richard recalled Amy's appearance from their passionate escapade the night before. She was extremely warm and full of energy. Why did he continue to crave her?

"CEO, this..." The driver observed that Richard's expression was gloomy. He was troubled and wished he could convey positive things for Amy.

"It's trivial. Let's get going." The person had already left. Why should he be concerned?

Inside the car, Richard called his friend Jonathan Wood and urged him to find out who the woman in the room the night before was.

Amy stormed away after harshly scolding Richard. In the end, she strolled unwittingly to the hospital where her father was being treated.

She should go see her father because she was already here. Anyway, she didn't have anywhere to stay for the night, so she decided to spend it on the hospital bench.

Amy saw that her father was already asleep through the window.

Her father's condition necessitated extensive medical treatment, but the Miller family lacked funds, so her father could only stay here and preserve his life.

Amy approached the bench outdoors after seeing her father. Fortunately, it was summer and not too cold. Amy sat down on the bench and promptly fell asleep.

The noise startled Amy Miller awake.

She had only just opened her eyes, and everyone in front of her was preoccupied. There were also a lot of doctors who were rushing around.

What had transpired was unknown to Amy. When she looked up through the hospital windows, she discovered that the sky was still dark. Was there a problem at this hospital? What had happened?

However, such an occurrence at the hospital was very usual. Amy pushed herself to her feet and rubbed her eyes.

She was completely taken aback as she looked where they were heading.
