C8 Sign the Contract

"Miss Miller, your father urgently requires surgery. His situation, in my opinion, is critical. You should think about my suggestion." Andrew spoke to Amy, unknown when he had entered the room.

Amy pondered about what the nurse had just said as she stared at her father. She wiped the tears from her eyes and turned to face Andrew.

"Okay, I'm going to marry him. No matter what kind of person your young master was, even if he lacked arms and legs, and whatever illness he had, it makes no difference to me. I'll marry him, but first, I need one million. I'll have the hospital find a suitable heart for him and begin the surgery right away." Amy had run out of options. She had no choice but to sacrifice herself in exchange for saving her father.

"No problem, so don't worry. I'll transfer the money now." Andrew was relieved to see Amy agree with his proposal. He took out his phone and softly swiped his finger across the screen.

"Okay, Miss Miller. The matter has been resolved. The money has been transferred to the hospital. I've also sent an additional three hundred thousand. Don't worry." Andrew put his phone down and spoke to Amy.

Everything has gotten so easy for the wealthy. When doctors and nurses arrived, Amy did not even say thank you.

"Change Mr. Miller's medicine for the best one we have. The hospital has already gone to look for a suitable heart now. If there is any news, we will immediately inform you, Miss Miller." The doctor who spoke was the one who urged Amy to pay.

Amy took a close look at the people in front of her. They would do anything if there were enough money. The doctor's demeanor had improved significantly as well.

"All right, everything is settled. Please come and follow me immediately, Miss Miller." Amy was addressed with politeness by Andrew. She turned her attention back to her father. He had good medicine and was well-treated. She felt a lot better as well.

"All right!" Amy obediently trailed after Andrew out of the ward.

Amy looked at the luxurious Bentley. She was perplexed as to why a wealthy person would be interested in her. She was even more certain that this so-called young master was either crippled or very ugly.

The car made a full round around the capital before arriving at a villa in the suburbs. When Amy got out of the car, Andrew opened the car door for her.

This villa. What should she say? The open space at the door was as big as the square. People felt oppressed by the villa as a whole, though it was majestic. Amy felt suffocated as she observed the entire villa.

Andrew led her into the villa. The villa's interior was accurately described as a place paved with money. Amy had never seen such expensive lights or furniture before.

But she was uninterested in these things. She was a little enthralled and only interested in seeing how unattractive her husband looked.

"Please have a seat first, Miss Miller. I'll get the contract to you so you can sign it." Andrew had let Amy sit on the expensive Italian sofa and requested the servant to serve her some drinks and desserts.

He walked to the study room and fetched the contract he had drafted ahead of time.

"Please take a look, Miss Miller. If you believe there are no issues, please sign it." Andrew handed the contract to Amy.

Amy received the contract and read it carefully.

On the contract, there were only a few items written. Amy would marry the family's young master, and the family's young master would cover all of the expenses needed for the treatment of Amy's father.

And that their wedding would last for two years. Both men and women would recover their freedom after two years, and the guy would compensate the woman with ten million.

There was, however, one last condition. The man and woman should live like a real husband and wife within these two years, and they would have to apply for a marriage certificate.

Amy realized that she was not harmed by this contract. He was far more gentlemanly than that scoundrel Mason Gasper, especially since he would still pay her ten million dollars if they split up. In other words, for the next two years, Amy would be living with an ugly person. She would be set free after two years.

"This, Sir, wouldn't he be at a disadvantage if your young master treated me like this? Why is he so generous?" Amy questioned Andrew while holding the contract in her hand.,

Of course, he would be at a disadvantage. The young master was just doing this to deal with his family's forced marriage. Otherwise, such a wonderful opportunity would not have come your way.

However, Andrew did not utter such things aloud.

"No, no, no. Didn't you pay for it as well? For you, two years is also a golden period." Andrew said it nicely.

Even though she knew that she had not suffered any losses, Amy was still cautious. Were they brewing something up? This was a huge pie that had fallen from the heavens!

Though many thoughts were running in her mind, she had nothing to lose anyway. All she cared about was her father's recovery. That young master also did not have any interest in him. They just slept together. It was just to warm each other up. Fine, as long as her father was well. Everything would be fine.

Amy signed her name and gave the contract back to Andrew.

"Miss Miller, I brought your belongings that you left at the hotel earlier today. Please take a look over it and see if anything is missing. Your room is upstairs, the second one on the corner. For your convenience, I've already prepared it." Amy received her bag from Andrew.

Amy checked her phone, identification, and some cash. They were all still there. Nothing was missing.

"Thank you so much. I don't think I'm missing anything." Amy was grateful for Andrew's thoughtfulness.

Amy suddenly recalled that she still had something important to ask Andrew after their long conversation.
