Taylor felt as if she’d just closed her eyes when she heard a knock on her bedroom door.

“Miss Scott?”

“Yes?” Taylor struggled into a robe and opened the door.

Jocelyn entered, carrying a tray with coffee and toast, which she placed on the table by the window. “Here’s your coffee, as promised. Audrey Campbell will be here in thirty minutes with your wardrobe.”
