The first thing I did after returning to the island was to report my safety to the Laoliu's House. He said that on the fourth day after I left, he waited for me on the other side of the river for a whole day. He did not wait for me to return, and thought that I would not come back, or that I had met some danger, and was worried about me.

I asked him if Fatty had come back, and in my heart
