She turned around when she felt something that struck on her back.

Everything went slow. She cannot process everything, they seem a night mare for her.

She gasped in surprise. She can't believe what she just witness. A tear escape from her eyes.

The man that she love the most, was holding an arrow and a bow pointing at her.

The tears on the goddess eyes starting to shed. Frustration, pain, longing and betrayal screamed all over her face.

A footstep running from behind her, make her wail in pain and frustration even more. She's running to the man that is so precious to her.

Her eyes followed her and she witness how the man she love the most held her hands.

She's a princess, and she owns the heart of the man that she love the most.

She stole her happiness.

How dare a mere princess provoke with a goddess like her.

She point her bow and arrow at the princess.

She was blinded by jealousy.

But, before she could let go of the string, something stuck on her heart.

She search for the culprit. He's looking at her with a blank expression on his face.

How could you?

She can't scream, the tears on her face starting to flow like a falls that keeps on flowing and she doesn't know when it stops. Is it after her disappearance?

The pain that he inflicted to her was beyond inhumane, and he just decided to add some more. Great human!

She can't control her tears.

She looks really defeated by a mere mortal. She doesn't look like a goddess on her state.

But, a desperate wife, who's trying to win her husband back even she looks so pitiful and disgusting.

No, she already know for a long time that she's defeated from a mere mortal by means of anything.

She's just trying her best to win him again even it cost so much.

Even she's putting her title as a goddess.

Even this could be the price.

She closed her beautiful eyes and decided just to feel the pain, by the betrayal of her beloved.

She just gave up and decided to die as human, if this could end everything and make him happy.

She's starting to become numb. She doesn't know if its because of the arrow or the man behind the arrow.

She doesn't have any energy to deal with it. She just letting it flow and just feel the pain.

She's scared to find out the truth. For a brief moment a brave goddess become coward being. What a shame for olympus and Zeus.

Hera must be dancing in glee.

She's so scared to lend her hand again to the man that she loves, to pity her and pick her up. She already accepted her fate.

The swings of the sword, all that she can hear around her.

The scream of pain of the mortals, she doesn't know if its the pain or they are just eager to kill us - My kind. I can sense them. Who brought them here?

"Artemis, what the hell are you doing? Stand up and fight back." She heard a voice from behind her. She stopped for a second.

She exactly know that voice. She will miss that thick voice of her twin brother, apollo. If she will decide her fate and let it end here.

She opened her eyes and lifted her gaze on them, but they are already starting to flee.

He holds the princess hands. He's holding it as if it's sort of treasure for him, that he can't afford to lose.

The sight is unbearable for her. She secretly hopes deep in her heart that it was her.

She kneeled several times to a human just to chose her as she chooses him and throw her title as a goddess.

She sacrificed everything for him. It works for a short period of time, but he will eventually change when the princess is around.

And that short time is the beautiful happening in her entire goddess life.

He's her unforgettable memory. A smile curved on her lips.

The bows that they had under the moonlight.

The kissed that they shared in the morning while laying on his arm.

The hug that they shared under the dew that fell from the leaves of the trees in the dawn.

His arms that give her warm during the cold.

His kiss that makes her feel secure everytime when they were together.

His hands that holds her as if it's telling her, that he got her back when she fall.

His feet that leads the way always for her to find her way back home in the woods.

His chest that makes her fill the warmth, and has the capability to let her feel that she is secure, and she at home. Whenever it press on her cheeks.

The love that they share in the woods under the tree were birds chirps happily as if it's cheering them.

Their laughter when they took a bath in the stream and enjoy each others company.

Their chuckle everytime they will hunt wild animals for food.

Their unending happiness. No! Her unending happiness in his arms was fade away in just one night.

One wonderful night for her revelation, but she was caught off guard when she found him and the princess kissing each other.

The giggle everytime their nose met.

The stare that they shared.

The rhythm of their body as if it was a perfect beat for a perfect move.

Was so painful for her to bear, that she decided to run away and forget, and serve him at it is.

"I will kill you, orion." It was apollo's voice.

Artemis pulled back from a deep thought when she heard apollo. She saw apollo ran towards orion and she decided to follow even blood drips from her chest.

"You can't kill him." She shouted to her brother. She is still trying to save him even for the last moment.

She kept on running even she is gravely wounded. She's starting to lose her sight and cannot find apollo.

She starting to summon the birds, but it doesn't respond. She looks so weak that any minute she might pass out and die.

She's starting to lose her power and turn into a human completely and she might die as human. The price she must pay for loving a mortal.

She look in the sky and crow was all over the place. Something is strange. The witch is here. She might looking at me with a satisfying smile on her face.

She look at her left and an oak tree starting to grow fast and formed as if it's an ancient tree. A goddess!

No one can make a tree grow like that. She cannot sense her fellow goddess on her state. She just stare the tree, until wind blew cold as if it was made of snow.

"Go find them. You will be late." It was Hera. She's sitting comfortably on the peacock. She looks at me with a grin.

"How could you do this to her?" It was, apollo. She heard them not far away from her. She ran quickly.

His sword sparks under the crescent moon.

He lift his sword with all his might and about to slash Orion's neck, when Artemis throw herself to Orion. She cover him not to get killed.

The blood that drips from the edge of her brothers sword is not from the man that he dreamed to kill.

It was from his twin sister that he treasures the most.

I lift my gaze to him and gave a warm smile.

"Is it painful? I'm so sorry. Sorry!" He's tears continue to flow and the veins all over his face are visible. He looks really in great sorrow. He didn't expect it from Artemis.

"Sorry!" He hugged her tightly as if he's putting all the blame on himself.

"No. It's okay. It's my will, don't blame yourself, brother." She smiled at him while her tears started to flow again.

She cannot bear this sight from her twin. He looks so miserable.

"It's not painful. Do you know that I'm a goddess?" She is trying to comfort him even it's sounds so pathetic. She is trying to paint a smile on her lips.

"Do you still take me for a fool? How many times do you transform yourself into a human? Even you know the price." He wailed.

"Sorry, brother." I said while wiping his tears.

Blood from her mouth starting to flow. She was coughing fresh blood and she knew she won't last long.

The pain that she have to endure for the sake of her twin brother.

This how does human feel? She is trying not to make any sound even the pain is excruciating.

"Yaa!" It was the princess voice. She lift her weak gaze and saw the princess holding a sword and she traced it was on her brother chest.

Anger from within starting to form on her heart. She looked at apollo who's now smiling at her with a blood dripping on her mouth.

"Sorry! You came this far because of me, brother." She cried weakly. She looked at the sky and saw a goddesses who witnessed the tragic happening.

She decided to trade her soul. She cannot accept the death of her brother.

Hera, Leto and Azraelle just witness the betrayal and death of her beloved.

But, before she could stand up. Something struck on her stomach which make her a demon instantly. She traced the sword and looked up. It's the man that she loved the most trying to kill her, not only her, but their un-born son.

Blood from her womanhood starting to flow. Something huge from her woman hood is about to come out, but that's when apollo's head lose it balance and fell on her stomach.

Her son and brother. They both died on her warmth. He looked at her and shock was written all over his face.

"I'm pregnant, we need to go." It was the princess voice. She pulled him and they both run. She want to burn them alive, but she cannot. It seems that she ran out of energy to deal them tonight.

She crawl and pull the sword on her brother chest. She stand up with the help of the sword.

She slash her palms and chanted. A goddess blood that drips can summon another goddess. She tried her luck. She called out for Selene.

"In the name of the moon. You will both be in pain and longing, both of you will cry endlessly. You will both end up alone. Everytime the crescent moon appeared in the night sky you will dream of me, my pain, your betrayal, my tears, and it will be a nightmare." She shouted facing the woods.

"I will make the both of you pay!" She cried but they already runaway in the woods. They cannot be seen.

"Selene, Selene. The goddess of light, that lights the world during the night. I summon you!"

She pulled the sword on her stomach. Blood drips from her palms and raise it into the shadow of the moon.

"I need your help, selene. Save us!" She begged. A light of the moon was suddenly formed into a being. It was Selene.

She's wearing a white long gown, jewelries was on her head and neck. Diamonds sparks on her hand. Her beauty is incomparable. She's indeed a goddess of the wonderful moon.

Her presence screamed authority and elegance. But, She is a cunning goddess. She will trade her soul just to make them pay.

"I cannot save all of you. Your brother apollo along with his soldiers will disappear after the disappearing of the crescent moon and they will be back on Olympus. They will live us gods again. Their title will be reinstated since this is their first offense to transform their selves into a human to save you, but you! You know what will happen to you after this, Artemis. You will disappear. Your son is dead. I cannot save him. He's half mortal." Tears was formed on her eyes. She wipe it immediately.

"You are a tough one." It was Hera. She was behind her. "You don't die easily." She continued.

"Wait for me. I will comeback for you too, hera." Artemis voice was firmed. She doesn't sounded scared of Hera.

"How dare you." Hera was about to use her power when Selene stopped her.

"Touch her. She is already mine." Selene grinned. "She already offer her blood to the moon, Hera." She continued and touched Artemis shoulder.

"And what for the price?" Hera sounded pissed.

"Who knows? The olympus or Zeus. Which one? You decide, Artemis." Selene smiled at Hera while moving her finger elegantly to the light of the moon.

"Zeus or Hera's Head? You choose." Artemis replied that makes Selene laugh evilly. "Shall we?" Selene hold Artemis hands and ascend in the moon.
