C1 Date

She was strolling back and forth in frustration waiting for her results to come.

Her 5 years of hard work is finally going to pay off within few minutes. But her mind and heart were not stable. She thinks back to her past,

Sara, a cheerful and liberal 24-year woman who is pursuing architecture.

At first, she was doing her best in her studies but later on, she lost track in studies as her father left her and her mom at a crucial time.

She can't concentrate on her studies like before. She went into depression as her teachers scolded her for not doing the work on time. But, her mom supported her to get out of depression so-called "The demons world" as her mother would always say" Design your life the way you want. Just keep moving forward"

Then, Sara put all her efforts into studying. Both her life and mom's business started to grow up equally.

Ding ( notification tone)

She came out of her senses and checked her phone as excepted she passed her exam with flying colours.

"Mom.. mom", she screamed in joy.

She ran to open the door but got hit by the edge of the door.

" ouch", she cried in pain but she ran like a maniac to see her mom with one leg up jumping...

Her mother Amber Grayson was preparing food...She was in a daze not knowing the presence of someone in the kitchen.

Sara just went near and gave a hug to her mom and announced in happiness, "I made it mom. Finally your princess graduated.. Wohoo..".

Her mother jerked lightly and said controlling her laughter," Why are shouting like an idiot dumbo."

Sara's mood spoiled hearing her mother's opposite reaction and she gets irritated when someone calls her dumbo.

She turned to leave but her mother voice stops her from going, "Congrats Sara Amber Grayson. I am proud of you my princess."

Sara couldn't control the emotion, she just broke into tears and said, "It's all because of you mom. Thanks for believing in me."

"It's your hard work dear", mom replied while caressing her back.

"Thanks, Mrs Grayson", she replied with a smile.

She leaves that place when she receives a call from her friend,

" Congrats Sara", came a voice from another side.

" Same to you sweetheart", replied Sara.

"Finally we got graduated, Sara... I am super duper happy... Then.. what's special Sara? Did your boyfriend called you?", asked Kiara.

" No dear. I am just waiting for his wishes...But nothing came. I think he is still angry with me ", replied Sara.

" Don't think too much dear. Maybe he got stuck with some issues. He will call you back", Kiara confronted her.

"I hope so", Sara answered positively. But deep down she knows how much she misses him, as they didn't communicate for the past few weeks.

They chattered for a while. Then, Sara went to freshen up and went downstairs.

She was amazed seeing the beautiful decoration with white flowers. A delightful aroma spread the entire living room which makes her stomach growl.

She moved towards the dining area. Her favourite foods were lined up on the table.

" Will you be my date", her mother asked her by gesturing her left hand forward.

"Sure", Sara replied with a smile.

" Are you disappointed?", her mother asked with a questioning look.

"It's my pleasure to have a date with a superwoman and to be honest the decoration was awesome"

"And you have one more surprise dear. I have decided to spend this weekend with you", her mom announced.

" Are you sure mom? Later you should not break the promise", Sara asked in a worried tone.

"I promise dear", her mother said without any single thought.

" Then. it's settled", Sara declared.

Later, both enjoyed this moment forgetting all her worries. The whole room was surrounded by happiness and laughter sound.
