C4 Crippled Heart

Sara stared at the picture of liam. Her heart shattered remembering those beautiful memories.

At the same time, she received a call from Ryan. She quickly wiped her tears and answered it.

"Hello", she said in a hoarse voice.

" Where are you?", Ryan asked.

"I just came to get some air", she lied.

" Okay. Come to xxx hospital", he said with hesitation.

"Why? What happened? Are you okay?", she asked getting panicked.

" Just Come here", he said.

"Okay... I am on my way. Wait there", she said and disconnected the call.

After 30 minutes of driving, she reached the xxx hospital with great difficulty due to rain.

As soon as, she gets down from the care. She saw that the hospital is in chaos.

Many patients are getting down from the ambulance with lots of blood all over the face not they body.

Doctors and nurses are running back and forth for the treatment of patients.

Soon, the arrived ambulance also went out. I just prayed for them because it's my habit whenever I heard an ambulance sound.

Then, I turned right and saw Ryan leaning in a column.

His gaze momentarily shifted from his phone to her.

He came near her with long strides and clasped her hand.

Sara sensed his behaviour was weird so, she interrogated him, " What happened? Why you are here?"

Without saying any word, Ryan just took her to a small corridor.

The more she walked, the more her heart raced rapidly as she saw the sign of mortuary board.

Her body catches cold and her hands started to shake lightly due to fear.

He turned and noticed her body changes. He looked into her eyes. His eyes slowly started to tear up and said the terrible heart breaking message.

"Aunty met with an accident. She left us Sara", he said with tears flowing from his eyes.

Sara stumbled and sat on the cold floor. She was in a trance. And, her breath is getting slow like someone is choking her neck.

" Sara.... Sara", Ryan called her multiple times but all she could hear just like a whisper.

After a minute, he tried to make Sara stand up. Sara just dragged her body and moved with an heavy heart.

All she could hear the people crying sound in that dark corridor.In anxiety, She just hold his tip of his shirt.

Few meters away, She saw her mom lying motionless while closing her eyes.

She went near her and said "Mom" but this time her mom didn't reply her.

she took her hand and said, "Get up mom". But still no response from her so she shaked her body roughly so that she would get up from her nap.

While doing so , Ryan turned towards me and shouted angrily " What are u doing sara?"

"Can't you see I am trying to wake her up" , I shouted back.

He hugged me and said, "Just cry why are u holding it sara?".

Then, her breath got more heavy everything around her are started to get blur and her vision turned black.

After 3 hours:

She slowly opened her eyes and closed suddenly because of the bright light from the ceiling.

Then she cried silently remembering what happened earlier . She pulled her IV drops and turned right and left but no one was there ..

She ran towards the door and saw Ryan was sitting in the waiting area..

"Ryan" , she shouted

Then he came near me and asked

" Are u okay?"

"Where is my mom?", she asked him without answering him.

"She .... she ..." , he stammered while saying

can u plz say where...... i.. is she..? , i shouted loudly while crying

"come with me" , he said

she just followed him and saw her mother drapped in a white cloth ... After seeing her a part of my soul left her. There was an immense pain in her heart.

She went near while crying

" Mo...mom....mom"

why ......? you lef...t .....me ?..... u know..... tha....t i ca..nt live without..... u .. but still.... u .....left me ... u.... sa...id ..... tha..t...... u wi..ll......come ...to..day ... for ....din..ner

But ...u ....bro..ked ....th..e ....pro..mise ...mom....

why?? why ?? she mumbled while squatting near her the stretcher.

My heart was numb seeing my mom.. This heart is now crippled as she lost everything in a day.

Let's see can this heart by cured or not?
