C16 Birthday Banquet 

After staring at Violet with her despise gaze, Sofia left the banquet in advance without informing anyone.

On the other side, Old Mr Mintz brought Violet and Stanley to his private resting room.

"Grandpa Mintz, this is a gift Master asked me to pass to you. Happy birthday!" Violet handed over the present she brought along.

The banquet tonight was not only for the charity event but also a birthday banquet.

However, only some people knew about this birthday banquet and Violet Hunt was one of them.

"Okay, thank you," Old Mr Mintz took it and opened it in front of Violet Hunt.

It was a dark-red enameled pottery. Although it did not worth much money, it was made by Merced, his old friend.

Seeing the birthday wish from his friend, Old Mr Mintz smiled and accepted it with satisfaction.

"Stanley, about what you said previously, I don't think there's anything much I can help with. I'm getting old," After putting down the gift, Old Mr Mintz looked up at Stanley, who was sitting at the side.

They were discussing something earlier, but due to the commotion Scarlett caused just now, they were forced to stop discussing in order to deal with the issue.

Stanley was the biggest donor of the night, but his intention was not to participate in the Mintz family project but to request Old Mr Mintz to become the chief designer of Murphy's latest fashion project, 'Rising From The Ashes'.

Stanley was a very picky person at work. In this field, he could only think of two people. One was Moore, who was in the country and the other was Merced, who was currently living in a foreign country.

However, the only one who seemed to be more approachable was Moore.

Facing Old Mr Mintz's rejection, Stanley stayed silent.

"How about this, take a look at this little girl. What do you think? Not only she's young, but thoughtful too," Old Mr Mintz suddenly turned his gaze at Violet.

Violet felt confused, standing at her spot.

Stanley then looked at Violet with a cold gaze.

Although he had met this woman twice, it did not mean that he would give the project to a random person.

At this moment, Stanley hesitated.

"How about this, let this little girl work in your company a month so you could inspect her. If she really can't do it, then let her master takes up the work," Old Mr Mintz said with a smile, but his eyes were full of trust towards Violet.

To Violet, his words made it sound like she had been sold. Not only her, but her master too.

Old Mr Mintz was so confident, and his words were all praising this woman, saying her capabilities were extraordinary.

Stanley couldn't help but feel slightly interested in the offer.

"Alright," He then agreed readily.

"..." Violet stood still on the spot. Didn't they need to discuss this with her?

"Tomorrow, come to this place. Be on time," Stanley got up and handed a gold business card to Violet.

Violet Hunt took it and before she could say anything, Stanley had turned around and left.

"Grandpa Mintz, about this...?"

Violet looked at Old Mr Mintz with a puzzled face.

"It's your master's idea too. It's time to go out and experience," Old Mr Mintz replied with a gentle smile.

Violet finally came to an understanding and solemnly put away the name card, "Understood. Thank you for arranging it for me, Grandpa Mintz."

In the foreign country, with her master paving the way, she indeed had gained some fame.

But in the country, without Mina's name and not exposing her identity as Merced's disciple, she was just a rookie without any power backer. If she wanted to be successful as soon as possible, she needed a chance to win overnight fame for herself.

Now that her master had asked Old Mr Mintz to give her such a opportunity, she must not let them down.

"It's good that you have thought it through. Go back and get prepared. You'll need to depend on yourself for the future path," Old Mr Mintz nodded his head in relief.

Violet then bowed to him and left.

When she returned to the apartment, it was already midnight.

Violet gently pushed open the bedroom door and checked on her two little babies sleeping on the big bed. She then revealed a warm smile on her face.

"They're sleeping soundly," Haisley stood beside Violet and watched them together with her.

Violet slowly closed the door, "Thank you for your hard work today, Haisley."

"It is not hard. I'm their Godmother and it's my duty to take care of them. As for you, why did you come back this late?" Haisley asked curiously.

With that, Violet walked toward the sofa in the living room and yawned as she replied, "Don't mention it. I ran into some trouble at the banquet and delayed the time to meet Grandpa Mintz."

"Trouble?" Haisley felt nervous when she heard about this. She then caught up with her steps and asked worriedly, "What trouble? Was it serious?"

"No, it's nothing serious and all solved. There's also good news," Violet threw herself on the sofa and took out Stanley's business card from her bag.

Haisley took it and exclaimed the moment she saw it, "Violet, how did you get Mr Murphy's business card?"
