C17 Too Abnormal!

Early the next morning, Everett brought Nina and Asher to Clovervale Manor.

Nina did not know what Harold wanted to do, so she nervously hugged Asher.

"Mommy, Uncle is a good person. He won't make things difficult for us." Asher was in a good mood. He raised his eyebrows as he spoke.

You brat, you only met Harold a few times and you already determined that he was a good person?

Nina pinched his nose. "What do you know?"

If he was a good person, then everyone would be a good person.

"Mommy, you'll know soon enough." Asher was so mysterious that Nina couldn't help but be curious.

Last time, she had wanted to take him away from Harold, but now he was so happy. What did Harold say to the little guy?

With this question in mind, Nina went to the study room where they had last met.

As for Asher, he was brought to the backyard by the servants to play.

Nina stood behind the table and thought about the misunderstanding. She apologized first, "Mr. Douglas, I'm sorry. I misunderstood you last time."

"I'm used to it," Harold said lightly. His eyes were directed at Nina, obviously implying something.

Nina thought to herself, 'Didn't you misunderstand me too many times? It's fine.'

"Mr. Douglas, you asked us to come here today..." Asher was so happy. Could it be that Harold agreed to help him find the bone marrow?

"Asher told me that he was willing to be my son." Harold deliberately paused. Sure enough, Nina's face turned pale.

He curled the corner of his lips and continued, "However, he mentioned a condition. He wanted me to hire you as his personal nanny to take care of him. In addition..."

Harold's smile deepened. "In addition, he also said that he could give you to me as his wife."

"..."

Nina blurted out, "Impossible!"

The woman's face was filled with resistance. Harold suddenly became depressed. "Nina, don't be narcissistic. I didn't agree to it at that time."

"Oh!" Nina sighed and smiled. "Please continue, Mr. Douglas."

"It's fine if you want to be a nanny, but I won't pay you. In addition, you have to take care of my daily life."

Why?

She was willing to take care of her son. Why did she have to take care of him and not pay him?

"Why? Are you unwilling?"

Nina continued to smile. "Yes, as long as Mr. Douglas is willing to save Asher, I am willing to do anything."

It was just taking care of someone. One person was taking care of someone, and two people were also taking care of someone. It probably wouldn't be much different.

"Alright, sign it." Harold placed the documents he had prepared in front of Nina.

Nina curled her lips. She was indeed a merchant. She was very cunning.

She quickly glanced at the contract and signed it after confirming that there was no problem.

Thus, on that evening, Nina and Asher moved into Clovervale Manor.

At the dining table, Harold sat across the mother and son. He listened to Asher chattering non-stop with Nina. He knocked on the edge of the bowl and said, "Don't talk during meal time."

"Oh!" Asher quietly ate his food. After a while, he picked up a piece of pork and gave it to Nina. "Mommy, this is delicious."

Since the uncle was also there, he could not be biased. Besides, he and his mother lived in the uncle's house, so he had to lower his head. As such, Asher sensibly picked up a piece of pork for Harold.

Harold put the pork on the side and said, "Don't talk anymore."

Asher covered his mouth and nodded heavily.

Nina glanced over from the corner of her eyes. The man had a straight back and was sitting very straight. He ate very quickly, but he did not seem to be rude. He chewed the food as if he was counting the number of times he had eaten it.

This was too abnormal!

Was he suffering from OCD?
