"Here you go," Christopher said, handing me a cup of coffee from Starbucks. "I wasn't sure what you like in it so I just got sugar and cream on the side. Is that okay?"

Christopher had just picked me up from my house to take me to school. I tried to tell him that I didn't mind just getting a ride from Sam like always, but he insisted.

"It's perfect," I said
