"Eldest Miss, you're finally here."

When the few people who had been flattering Chu Luo saw that Chu Jingran had arrived, they immediately came forward.

Chu Jingran held Shen Yinlu's hand and recognized the speaker's identity. It was a staff member of her department called Wei Lisa.

"What happened?"

Wei Lisa opened her mouth, wanting to retort with Chu Jingran about Chu Luo, but when she glanced out of the corner of her eyes, she heard that this Young Master of Chu Family had once had a relationship with Chu Luo, so Wei Lisa didn't dare to speak.

Chu Jingran noticed Wei Lisa's expression. She let go of his hand and said to Shen Yinlu, "Yinlu, you go ahead and find Dad. I'll be there if I have something to take care of."

Shen Yinlu cast a sidelong glance at Wei Lisa, and his eyes turned slightly cold. Finally, he gave up and said, "Alright, then hurry up."

Chu Jingran nodded and Shen Yinlu left.

Shen Yinlu walked up and stood beside her. He looked at the starry sky, "I knew you would be here from a guess."

In the past, Chu Luo didn't like attending banquets like this one, but most of the time, Grandma Chu would ask Chu Luo to come along. When the banquets were halfway through, Chu Luo would ask Annan to hide on the balcony to drink and watch the stars.

"What are you doing here?" Chu Luo asked, shaking her goblet with her fingers, looking uneasy.

Shen Yinlu glanced at her with a warm smile without any malice. He said, "Luo, how are you and Bei Muchen doing now?"

Shen Yinlu didn't know that Chu Luo had already remembered Fu Annan.

He hoped that Chu Luo would never remember so that she wouldn't suffer. Shen Yinlu could tell that Bei Muchen cared about her.

Chu Luo's shaking hands stopped at his question. "I'm having a good time now. Where's my senior?" She tried her best to not let Shen Yinlu have any inklings about it.

Shen Yinlu did not notice it. His gaze was distant as he looked at the bright stars in the sky. His eyes were beautiful like the stars, and the emotions that flowed in his eyes were gentle.

"As long as people I like are happy."

Chu Luo's heart trembled when she heard that. She took a sip of the red wine. She clearly knew what Shen Yinlu meant, but she still pretended that she didn't understand.

His eyes narrowed as he smiled brightly. "As long as senior is happy."

Chu Luo turned around and was about to leave when Shen Yinlu caught sight of her. He stopped her footsteps and said, "Luo, we haven't had a good chat in three years. Can you accompany me and have a chat?"

Suddenly, Chu Luo stopped in her tracks. Originally, she didn't want to cause trouble for Shen Yinlu because she could tell that Chu Jingran cared about him a lot.

However, her relationship with Chu Jingran wasn't that good. Shen Yinlu was his senior after all, and Chu Luo couldn't be cruel.

Even though he abandoned Annan and chose to save her.

Chu Luo didn't leave. She didn't look back and just stood there. She heard Shen Yinlu's voice.

"There were countless times in my dreams when I wished we could go back in the past. Those were the happiest days of our lives."

Shen Yinlu often thought back to school, Fu Annan did not disappear, Chu Luo did not lose her memory.

Although Chu Luo and Fu Annan were together, she was happy instead of being like this, cold and distant.

Listening to Shen Yinlu's words, Chu Luo's heart ached. A trace of sadness leaked out of her eyes. Because her back was facing Shen Yinlu, he didn't see it.

Chu Luo mumbled subconsciously, "Time passes. We will never be the same again."

Her voice was very soft, so Shen Yinlu didn't hear clearly. He asked, "Luo, what did you say just now?"

Chu Luoxin was startled by his question, realizing what she had just said. She came back to her senses and said, "It's nothing, I'm leaving first."

Chu Luo left quickly, not daring to let Shen Yinlu see her emotions.

After leaving the balcony, Chu Luo found a quiet corner to calm herself down. She took a few deep breaths before calming down.

Luckily, she wasn't found by him, she already remembered Annan.

Just as Chu Luo was about to leave, the sound of rustling voices came from the corner.

"Eldest Miss, this isn't good, right? She's under Bei Muchen's protection right now." Chu Luo seemed to have heard the owner of the familiar voice somewhere before.

Chu Luo quietly hid to the side and watched with only one eye.

In the darkness stood a crippled man with a rough voice. Chu Luo remembered that this man wanted to be strong in the hotel. The one who raped her.

Chu Luo narrowed her eyes and hid in the shadows.

Chu Jingran coldly snorted a few times. "Coward. With me supporting you, just do what you have to do. You just have to secretly put these photos on the computer. I'm going to ruin Chu Luo's reputation."
