As early as 6:30 AM, Lucy came to James door and knocked.

‘Who’s at the door?’, he asked as he lay on his bed.

‘it’s Lucy’

‘Alright come in’.

She came into his room with a pail of water and a mob. She was on a simple gown her hair was neatly plaited. James stole glances at her and she did the same.
