It was a few days after my kitchen trial and our mini honeymoon had come to an end. I was finally starting work officially. The thought filled me with a strange mix of anticipation and excitement.

The morning light streaming in through the floor to ceiling windows accentuated Bastian's broad shoulders as he got dressed.
