C1 Rebirth(1)

The sky was gray, and the sunlight could not penetrate through it. It was as if a layer of black gauze was covering it, making people feel extremely pressured.

The ground was filled with rocks and ice.

Around a bare rock mountain, gunshots rang out, and flames flew everywhere.

The obsidian mountain was as tall and steep as if it had been carved by a knife or axe. Its edges were clear and sharp. The mirror-like stone surface was constantly flashing with dazzling flames, but they would disappear in the darkness in the blink of an eye.

Looking up, an incomparably huge humanoid creature was climbing up the mountain. It was dozens of meters tall and had a pair of huge curved horns. It had a goat's head and a human's body. Its four limbs were strong and powerful, and it had a tail that looked like a lizard.

Its skin was rough and thick, and it was dark red with blood stains. It was covered with protruding blood vessels, which was terrifying. It seemed as if lava and fire were flowing under the skin, and with the rise and fall of its chest, it was sometimes bright and sometimes dark.

Its nostrils kept spitting out hot steam, as if its entire body was wrapped in flames.

"Chirp!"

The sharp whistle of the cannon came from afar, and it exploded on its face. In an instant, the dust and stone flew into the sky like a fountain.

Turning around, they saw a Mech with a cannon on its shoulder coming out from behind the mountain.

"Roar!" The Abyss Devil let out a huge roar, grabbed the big rock beside it, and swung its round arm to smash it.

The pilot in the cockpit had already pushed the lever to the limit, as if it was going to crush it. However, it still did not escape the fate of being smashed. With a muffled sound, the Mech flew backwards, and its parts flew everywhere, spurting out black fuel that crashed into the mountain and exploded.

The orange-red flames danced on the sharp-edged stone surface, as if there were thousands of stars.

"Da Da Da Da Da Da Da Da Da Da Da!" "Da Da Da Da Da Da Da Da!"

Almost at the same time, two wing-shaped mechs that looked like ostriches and had two long mechanical legs flashed left and right amidst the criss-crossing rocks.

Looking from the front, there were three large white words painted on the dark green windshield below the egg-shaped cockpit: Thunderstorm Group.

Under the iron wings, four barrels of Vulcan were spinning at high speed, continuously spitting out tongues of flames and shooting out a string of bullets that were densely packed like a bead curtain.

The devil's body burst out with sparks of fire, and the rocks on its way were shattered, causing sand and dust to fly into the sky.

"Good job!" "Kill him!" "Kill him!" An excited shout erupted from behind the rocks.

Soldiers in gray and white waterproof military uniforms stuck their heads out and held their assault rifles as they crazily fired at the devil above.

However, the high morale only lasted for less than three seconds before it was torn apart. The devil threw itself forward, and the moment it landed, it turned its body and swept its tail across. In an instant, dust and dirt surged, as if a giant python was flinging its tail, and it was as fast as lightning.

The two wing-shaped mechs were unable to dodge in time, and they were instantly torn apart. The pilot crashed into the windshield and half of his body was hanging outside. His flesh was badly mangled, and he was in an extremely miserable state.

The dense sound of the gun suddenly stopped.

The soldiers were dumbstruck, as if they were scared silly by the cruel scene. After being stunned for a while, they all hid behind the rocks.

"Boss, what should we do?"

Not far behind the big devil, a fat and tall soldier with a cracked obsidian was holding a two-meter-long rocket launcher and asked a man with a silver star on his shoulder.

"Wait for the order." The man poked his head out from the crack in the rock and looked at the huge back of the man with bone spikes. He swallowed hard and replied. Then, with trembling hands, he took out an aluminum kettle and opened it, taking a mouthful.

"Thunderstorm Group, charge!"

Suddenly, a hoarse shout came from the walkie-talkie. The man shivered and the kettle fell to the ground.

The two of them looked at each other in dismay.

"Boss, what do we do?" The fat soldier asked with a guilty conscience, his eyes filled with confusion.

Charging at this thing was not courting death?

"What else can we do?" The captain smiled bitterly, "Could we be deserters?"

"Sigh …" The fat soldier clenched his fist and pounded his thigh.

"Kill!" "Ka Da Da!" "Ka Da Da!" "Boom! Boom! Boom!"

In the next moment, the sounds of shouting, gunshots, the eruption of the rocket launchers, and the sound of explosions resounded throughout the rock mountain.

"Let's go!" The captain gritted his teeth, picked up the assault rifle, and rushed out. The fat soldier carried the rocket launcher and followed closely behind.

The figure in front of him was like a tall building that covered the sky and the earth. The eyes that were flowing with lava were like a rising sun. The muffled roar was deafening, as if the world was trembling.

On the cold and pitch-black ground, thousands of soldiers charged forward like ants.

In the end, everything returned to darkness.

The rumbling cannon fire gradually faded away, turning into a silent and empty void.

Time quietly flowed, silent and soundless.

After an unknown period of time, perhaps a few hours, or perhaps a few months, or perhaps a few years.

In a shabby bunker, a young man in his twenties woke up.

"Where... where am I?"

He looked at the house that was half iron and half bricks as he muttered to himself.

His name was Chen Xing, a transmigrator from Earth. It had been fifteen years since he transmigrated to this parallel world.

He remembered that he was fighting the Abyss Demon. The last scene was him looking up and watching the huge palm slap down from above. He only felt the sky darken, and then he lost consciousness. Under normal circumstances, he should have already turned into a pile of meat paste. He could not be any deadlier.

He subconsciously raised his hand and looked at the electronic watch on his wrist. It was a black watch with many buttons on both sides. It looked very sturdy and had many functions. On the two-finger-wide screen, there were green characters.

Seeing the time, Chen Xing was stunned for a moment, but he quickly understood. He was reborn. The first rebirth was from Earth, and this second rebirth was from fifteen years later.

"I wonder if I will be reborn again after dying again?"
