Robyn had to resume work next week. In the morning, she went shopping for cooperate clothes. Her best friend Yansheng, was going on a business trip. He was an exchange student from China. They became friends after Robyn stood up to the guys who always bullied him.

Since they'd be having dinner together tonight for the last time, Robyn wanted to give him a gift so he wouldn't forget her while he was away for the next month.

She went to the men's section of the boutique, and started looking at what could be the perfect gift for a man as sophisticated as Wen Yansheng. Someone bumped into her while she was looking at a set of neckties.

"Um...excuse me do you have your eyes on the top of your head? You bumped into me - clearly you should apologize". She said angrily.

"And why should I apologize to something as rude as you?!". He asked her bending a little to look in her eyes. She felt intimidated, and stepped back a little.

"Firstly I'm not a 'thing', and you're the one who's being rude. With that look on your face, anyone would think you're a gentleman - but you're not!". Robyn looked at him angrily. If looks could kill, he'd be dead right now.

"Move out of my way you feisty little woman". He said moving closer, until their faces were only few inches apart. Robyn stumped on his feet. "I'm not moving an inch till you apologize, you animal". Robyn crossed her arms over her chest and

stood firmly.

The store attendant, heard the commotion and came to stop the quarrel. "Please ma'am no fighting in here. You'd disturb other customers". The woman said softly.

"He started it!". Robyn said angrily. The attendant didn't say anything to her. "Boss please follow me to see other designs. Don't pay attention to her". The attendant said to the man. He left smiling, which made Robyn angrier.

She decided to forget about him and continue selecting the gift for her friend. She selected a set of grey shade neckties. She felt the color grey spoke elegance. And a Limited Edition fountain pen. She paid for them, along with the clothes she bought. She felt ready for her new job.

When it was evening, she got ready to go out and meet with her friend. She wore a black ruffle dress, with a pair of matching heels and a purse. She applied light makeup, and fixed her hair. Then she drove to the location of their date.

When she got there, Yansheng was already waiting for her. "Hey, little one". He greeted her. "Look here you're a little taller now, and you call me little one". She said as she brought up her fist to punch him. "Okay I'm sorry big sis. You always took care of me at school, how could I call you little one?". He said giggling. Robyn pushed him aside, and started walking into the restaurant. He followed closely behind her.

They went into the private area he reserved in the five-star restaurant. Robyn ordered all of her favorite dishes.

"Are you sure you're gonna eat all that?". Yansheng asked looking at the table covered in dishes. "Of course I would - if it bothers you I'd pay for the food tonight. You're rich but thrifty. Humph...". Robyn said to him, as she picked up her cutlery, getting ready to dig in.

Yansheng lowered his head as he chuckled. "I'm not thrifty, I'm just worried you'd put on weight. If that happens no one would marry you". He said smiling. "Don't worry about that - I wouldn't be marrying you after all. Besides chubby girls cuddle better". She said with her mouth full.

Yansheng smiled bitterly and lowered his head. He secretly loved Robyn, and he planned to propose to her after this business trip.

They ate quietly for a while. Soon Robyn had finished all the dishes she ordered. "Don't worry I saved space for dessert". She said to Yansheng. He laughed at the childish look on her face.

"I have a present for you". He said to her after wiping his mouth. He put his hand under the table, and brought out two shopping bags. She took the bag excitedly. "Thanks bro". She said to him. "I also have a gift for you". She opened her purse and brought out the gifts she prepared for him. He took it and said thanks to her.

"Won't you open it?". She asked. "It's okay - I'm sure you picked an amazing gift for me". He said to her. "Come on open it". Robyn kept insisting. "Okay I'll open it". Yansheng said sounding defeated.

He unwrapped the first box. He saw the neckties she chose for him. The other box was small, so he already guessed what it was. He opened it and saw the pen inside. He smiled happily. "Thanks Robyn. I've been wanting to buy this pen for a while now. It uses the best German ink". He said to her.

"It's nothing I'd do anything for my favorite brother. Now you have to wear the neckties to your important meetings - it'd bring you good luck. And the pen, use it to sign all your contracts it'd also bring you good luck, since I prepared these gifts with all of my love". She said, happy that he liked her gifts.

They chatted happily after dinner. Then they both went for a short walk. The cold wind blew on her skin, and she subconsciously rubbed her shoulders. Yansheng took off his suit jacket to put it on her. His warmth immediately enveloped her. She looked up at him and smiled.

"You're flight is at 10.p.m tonight right? I'll see you off at the airport". She said to him. "There's no need I can go buy myself. I'll contact you when I get settled". He said to her. She insisted, and he couldn't say no to her. They both walked to the lake at the other side of the street. Robyn took off her heels and put her feet into the water.

"The water is so cold - you'd get sick". Yansheng said to her as she lifted her up. "Put me down this minute!". She yelled at him. "No - you'd get sick". He said as his grip tightened on her waist. Robyn stopped struggling after a while, as he carried her back to her car. "I just realized you're very handsome. I want those lashes". She said softly as she looked up at him.

"And you're a hot mess- really sexy in a lot of ways even though you're super clumsy". He said looking down at her. "uh-huh my little brother has learned how to flirt with me". She said laughing. Yansheng looked up a little frustrated. She thought he was flirting.

It was already 8.p.m when they got to her car. She got into the passenger seat and asked him to drive. She owned a silver Bentley that was a birthday gift from Yansheng two years ago.

When she said she'd be going to the airport with him, he thought she'd be driving. She's one hell of a woman. Yansheng thought to himself. He drove to the airport, as Robyn fell asleep. His assistant was already waiting for him at the airport with his luggage. She waited with him, until he boarded. Then she left. She felt happy after spending some time with him. She couldn't wait to see him again.
