C37 I Have Time.

"Me?" Lydia pointed at herself uncertainly.

The man nodded in affirmation, and her heart trembled.

He was really waiting for her.

Her eyes were filled with confusion. "What do you want from me?"

"Grandfather wants us to go to the old house for dinner," he replied honestly. He was sitting in the passenger seat because his legs were too long. He adjusted the seat accordingly.

She knew that he would never come to find her for no reason.

As if she was used to it, she didn't feel disappointed.

On the way back.

Lydia thought about what happened to Pauline today and couldn't help but glance at the man beside her.

She asked, "When did you leave University of Goulcrest yesterday?"

"I don't know." Reece stared at his phone and replied expressionlessly.

He seemed to have thought of something, and he turned to look at her. "Is there a problem?"

"It's nothing, it's nothing. I was just asking casually." The man's reply proved Lydia's guess.

The person who taught Pauline a lesson was definitely not Reece.

If it wasn't him, then who could it be?

Author?

No, it couldn't be.

Author's face was too famous in the school. How could Pauline not recognize him?

Lydia was getting more and more curious about who that mysterious man was.

She was deep in thought, so she didn't notice that the man was looking at her from the corner of his eyes.

Under the sunlight, the short-haired Lydia looked even more radiant and playful.

In the past, he had never paid attention to this woman. But today, he finally realized that she was actually quite pretty. In fact, she was even pleasing to the eye.

Her eyebrows were especially lively, as if she was a spirit.

Just as he was absorbed in his thoughts, the woman opposite him suddenly looked at him.

Their eyes met, and Reece's heart skipped a beat. He felt as if he had been caught in the act.

He quickly retracted his gaze and continued to play with his phone, pretending to be calm.

"Don't look around when you're driving. Look at the road!"

Lydia was speechless.

Did she look around?

"Still looking? Do you not want to live anymore?" The man's voice sounded in her ears again. Lydia turned her head and looked at the road ahead, but she did not show any weakness and muttered, "Wasn't it you who first saw me?"

Although the voice was not loud, it still fell into the man's ears.

Suddenly, his face turned red.

He pretended not to hear anything and stared at his phone screen expressionlessly.

In the old mansion of the Tillman family.

Because of the arrival of Lydia and Reece, the quiet house became lively.

Especially Old Mr. Tillman, who was always amused by Lydia.

"Lydia, I heard that you went back to school to study?" Old Mr. Tillman stopped smiling and suddenly became serious. "Did Reece make you angry? If you have suffered any grievances, tell me and I'll teach him a lesson!"

"No, he's been very good to me recently."

"Then why did you suddenly go to school?" Old Mr. Tillman was puzzled. In fact, he couldn't help but feel a little worried.

In the past, Lydia had wanted to stick to Reece 24 hours a day. How did she suddenly understand and go to school to study?

This didn't match her character at all!

Last time, Olivia had told him that Reece had started to care about her.

This made Old Mr. Tillman even more surprised.

Because he had forced Reece to agree to the marriage, he knew very well how much Reece didn't want to accept her.

In the past two years, he had tried his best to persuade Reece to accept her. However, he had not been able to convince Reece to accept her. What was going on?

They had suddenly gotten along so well, and Old Mr. Tillman was even more worried.

He was afraid that the two children were playing a show to please him.

Lydia was naturally aware of the worry in Old Mr. Tillman's heart.

She looked around and pretended to be worried. Then, she went up to the old man and whispered, "Grandfather, this is called playing hard to get!"

"Hmm?" Old Mr. Tillman was startled.

Lydia licked her lips and said shyly, "This is what my mother taught me. This is called the art of controlling a husband."

"Haha, haha... So that's how it is. Then, Grandfather, don't worry." When Old Mr. Tillman heard this, he did not doubt it at all. In his eyes, Lydia would never lie to him.

Suddenly, he felt relieved.

The old man stroked his beard and whispered to her, "Lydia, you should listen to your mother more. She's a veteran, and she has plenty of experience in this field. Besides, I think that the symptoms of Reece are exactly the same as yours!"

"Hehe, yes. He is starting to care about me now, hehe …" Lydia pursed her lips. Her small face was always brimming with happiness.

Seeing that she was happy, Old Mr. Tillman became even more serious. He didn't even realize that she was just lying to make the old man worry.

After lunch.

While Reece and his grandson were chatting, Lydia took out a pen and paper to start drawing.

Old Mr. Tillman couldn't help but look at her. "Lydia, you have been drawing for so long. You should take a break. Don't tire yourself out."

"Grandfather, I can't rest. The design competition is still in two months. I have to work at full speed. Otherwise, I will lose the bet with someone else. That would be too embarrassing."

Lydia pouted her lips, then continued to draw.

"Bet on the competition?" Old Mr. Tillman was confused.

Lydia had no choice but to stop her drawing and put down the pen. She simply told the old man about her bet with Cass.

After hearing that, Old Mr. Tillman couldn't help but smile.

He agreed, "That's right. We have to let the brat, who looks down on my granddaughter-in-law, slap his face. Granddaughter-in-law, I will support you. Practice hard and let that brat eat sh * t live!"

"Thank you."

"Lydia, in order to support you, Grandfather has decided to find a person who has won an international design award to be your teacher. He will help you improve your drawing skills in two months!"

Hearing Old Mr. Tillman's words, Lydia's eyes lit up.

She suddenly raised her head, her heart filled with joy. "Grandfather, you really love me. Can you give me the teacher's contact details? I'll contact him right away. Do you have time to take in a disciple?"

When Old Mr. Tillman saw that Lydia was on the way, his gaze slowly landed on Reece, and his tone turned into an orderly tone, "Reece, I'll leave Lydia to you. You must help her get first place."

When Lydia heard this, her mind went blank.

The teacher Grandfather was referring to was Reece!

Ugh...

Reece was in the same school as her, and he was also the student that the teachers were proud of. His graduation design was still hanging in the exhibition hall of their school, so that the students could appreciate and learn from it.

She knew that Reece was good at designing, but she didn't want to ask him for help.

She didn't expect that today...

"What's wrong, is it that you don't want Reece to teach you?" Old Mr. Tillman asked in confusion when he saw her unnatural expression.

Lydia quickly shook her head and put on a fake smile. "Of course I'm willing, but Reece has been so busy lately. I'm afraid he doesn't have time. Besides, it's just a bet. I don't think it's going to delay Reece's work."

Lydia's words were reasonable and her rejection was very beautiful.

Furthermore, she was sure that Reece would definitely agree with her.

Thus, she looked at Reece expectantly.

Reece took a sip of his tea and spat out, "I have time."

"Grandfather, he seems to be very busy. He... Hmm?" Lydia thought that the man would answer according to her analysis, so she was overjoyed and explained to her grandfather. However, in the next second, she was shocked.

She suddenly turned her head to look at the man.

He had time?

Young man, why didn't you follow the rules?
