C2 She will Not Treat You Unfairly!

"Don't worry. I really have something to talk to him about, but I won't talk about you two."

"So you're saying that I don't have anything to do with him anymore. Let me tell you, the matter with Sawyer is my business. I have the right to ask him about it."

Jolene clenched her phone tightly, and finally said calmly, "I'll call him later!"

Without waiting for Orionna to speak, Jolene put down her phone expressionlessly and went to wash up.

Jolene did not want to hear her say anything. She could do whatever she wanted. After all, she could not control her.

However, no matter how she looked at it, the finger that looked like a dumpling was not elegant at all. Jolene could only find a band-aid to wrap it up again.

Time flew by quickly. Jolene forced herself to put aside the troublesome and sad matters and focused on her work. She interacted with the other employees from time to time, and sometimes she even talked to Cecil. Only when she was working did she seem more lively.

However, when she got off work, she felt a little dizzy. She thought that she was tired, so she pushed the idea of having supper with everyone aside and went home alone.

When she got home, her headache worsened. Jolene did not even turn on the lights and went straight to the sofa. She laid on the sofa and fell asleep. There was no one else in the house other than her.

Suddenly, Jolene's nose twitched. She felt a familiar feeling in the air. A black shadow sat on the sofa beside her.

Suddenly, her consciousness woke up. Jolene quickly walked over and turned on the light. Sure enough, the figure that she had been thinking about day and night was now sitting on the sofa.

The corner of Jolene's mouth unconsciously curled up. Her eyes sparkled as she looked at Sawyer and said softly, "You are back!"

However, he did not care at all.

Sawyer, who was dressed in formal attire, completely ignored the presence of Jolene. He crossed his leg and sat on the sofa expressionlessly. His movements were languid, like a perfect sculpture. The only thing that was not good was that his voice was cold and void of warmth. "Mmm, there's something I need to talk to you about."

The meaning of his words was that he did not have anything important to talk to her about. He would not come back.

Jolene's eyes flashed. Her head felt like it had been stabbed by countless needles. She endured the pain, but she forced herself to smile. "Then I'll go and get you some bath water. We'll talk about it after you have finished bathing."

"No need. You can say it now."

"But..."

Jolene wanted to say that he had been busy for the whole day. After a bath, he would be more tired. Wouldn't it be better to talk like this?

However, with just a glance from Sawyer, she obediently shut her mouth and sat back on the sofa. She saw that there was something like a document on the tea table. She glanced at it again.

In an instant, Jolene's entire body turned deathly pale. She stared at the words: divorce agreement!

Jolene's eyes widened as she stared at Sawyer. Her eyes were filled with accusation.

"As you can see, this is what I want to find you for. The pen is here. I have signed it." The cold words came out of Sawyer's mouth. He was so calm and indifferent, as if he was saying that the weather was good today.

When Jolene heard this, her heart felt as if it had been stabbed by a knife. In an instant, blood flowed like rivers.

Jolene lowered her eyelids and covered the tears in her eyes. The corner of her lips moved, but she could not make any sound. She could only close her eyes. She felt the pain eroding her limbs and bones!

Finally, it came. No matter how hard Jolene tried to change her fate, she could not escape the fate of fate.

It was the same three years ago, and it was the same three years later. Everything had happened so suddenly and fiercely. It had caught her off guard, and her heart felt as if it had been stabbed by a knife. Her heart was bleeding like a river.

Feeling a chill on her face, tears silently flowed down. Jolene opened her eyes and looked at the familiar yet unfamiliar man in front of her. His arrogant face looked at her coldly, and his aura was terrifyingly deep.

Sawyer frowned, as if he was unhappy with her hesitation. He bent down and reached out his fair and slender hand to knock on the table. He raised his chin and complained to Jolene, "Quickly sign it."

Jolene trembled as she picked up the pen, but she did not move.

This time, Sawyer was finally impatient. "Hurry up. As long as you sign it, I, Sawyer, will not treat you unfairly."

Hearing that, Jolene laughed. Her laughter was incomparably desolate, and the tears on her face made one's heart ache.

"Jolene, you should know why I married you three years ago!"

Her words made her feel as cold as if she had just woken up from an ice cave.

Mrs. Oldfield, who was envied by everyone, did not know how she had passed the three years of days and nights of loneliness.

"Heh, I know very well." She smiled sweetly, but her smile was filled with bitterness.

Sawyer had never thought that this kind of Jolene would laugh. He had thought that she would cry, just like how she hid in a corner crying after being bullied in the past. He never thought that she would laugh, but her smile was so dazzling that it made him feel a little unbearable.

Sawyer's heartstrings were broken. He looked at Jolene with a slight struggle, but it disappeared in a flash as if nothing had happened. He continued to use his gaze to threaten Jolene.
