C11 Sick

Hanya Villa could be said to be one of the top buildings in C City. It covered a large area and it would take at least ten minutes to drive from the main gate to the villa. Ling Yun'er walked back to the villa in a daze.

Just as she stepped into the entrance, she bumped into Nanny Chen. Nanny Chen was shocked when she saw Ling Yun'er. She was completely drenched from the rain, and her thin maid costume was tightly wrapped around her. Her black hair was also dripping with water.

Everywhere Ling Yun'er went, she was covered in water. She kept apologizing to Nanny Chen, saying that she had dirtied the floor and caused trouble for Nanny Chen. Nanny Chen had a faint feeling that something was wrong. What was wrong? Nanny Chen finally understood that it was her face.

Ling Yun'er used to be cheerful everywhere she went, but today her face was wooden and her eyes were empty, as if she had lost her soul.

Ling Yun'er pushed open the bedroom door. It was cold inside, just like the room she was in when she was freezing to zero.

When human emotions are at their weakest, the ability to resist the virus is at its worst. Ling Yun'er felt a burst of cold and heat. She knew it was a symptom of fever and dragged her tired body into the kitchen. She cut the ginger and put the brown sugar in the pot, intending to boil the ginger soup.

Nanny Chen walked in and said softly, "Miss Ling, go lie down. I'll call for you when you're done!" If she had not restrained her emotions, she would have hugged Nanny Chen and cried happily. But she couldn't. As a servant, she couldn't pour out her pain to the kind Nanny Chen. That would make Nanny Chen worry.

After drinking the ginger soup, she fell asleep. In her dreams, she seemed to see her mother.

As kind and kind as Nanny Chen, she tearfully asked her mother in her dreams, "Is my daughter a bad person? Is my daughter wrong? Why didn't you take me with you? Why did you leave me alone in this world? Mom you always knew, my daughter isn't a lowly woman. Mom isn't either, am I right?" But her mother left without replying to her question.

In a trance, Ling Yun'er felt as if someone had pressed a hand to her forehead. She looked at her with a worried and complicated gaze, and she also felt as if she were sinking into a warm and familiar embrace.

Is it Hee Hanyu? If only it was him!

She really wished this dream would last longer. She didn't want to wake up, even if it meant getting Hee Hanyu's respect and love!

But how funny and far-fetched was the idea. What was she? His lover, the doll in his hand, one day he would loathe it, and perhaps one day he would throw himself away like a rag doll, as he had done today in the rain!

When she woke up the next day, her fever had subsided and she was much more energetic. Relying on her youth, her body recovered quickly and she quickly became busy. She worked seriously, but Nanny Chen felt that Ling Yun'er was much less energetic.

She had not seen Hee Hanyu for an entire day, which made her feel a lot more at ease. She was afraid of him, she really hoped that they would never meet again for the rest of her life without fear.

At night, when she was about to fall asleep, Ling Yun'er smelled a refreshing fragrance. It was faint, mixed with the smell of tobacco, and it belonged to him.

When she opened her eyes, she saw Hee Hanyu.
