"She's your ex-fiancée. You two have nothing to do with each other now."

"Even if she's an ex, she's still a fiancée. So, what's your relationship with her?"

Quan Zhennan's words left Gu Feixi momentarily speechless. Zhennan was right; even if it's in the past, it still counts for something. But what exactly was his relationship with Mo Li? There was nothing between them, so why was he speaking up for her now?

"We're business partners," Gu Feixi replied.

Zhennan let out a mocking laugh and said, "Then you have no say in this." He reached out to grab Mo Li, but Gu Feixi punched him square in the face.

"Get lost."

Knowing he couldn't win against Gu Feixi, Zhennan wisely got into his car, but not before throwing out a threat: "You'll regret this." He then sped off.

Watching Zhennan retreat, Gu Feixi turned to Mo Li. "If he bothers you again, come to me. Guys like him need to be taught a lesson."

Mo Li suddenly realized that this man in front of her gave her a sense of security. She had always wanted to deal with Zhennan, and Gu Feixi could help her do just that.

"Thank you," Mo Li said.

"No need to thank me."

The atmosphere between them shifted slightly, especially for Mo Li, who seemed to sense something more.

"Um, I..." Mo Li started to say something but then stopped herself.

"Just say what you want to say," Gu Feixi said.

Mo Li looked at Gu Feixi, hesitated for a moment, but still said nothing.

Just then, Gu Feixi's phone rang. He glanced at the caller ID and was surprised. Why was she calling? What could she want?

Mo Li seemed to notice Gu Feixi's reaction and asked, "What's up?"

Gu Feixi didn't answer, nor did he pick up the call. Instead, he dialed Tang Soong. "What's going on?"

"What do you mean?" Tang Soong replied.

"You know."

Tang Soong chuckled and said, "She's back."

For Gu Feixi, there was a name that couldn't be mentioned. Saying it was like touching a live wire, and Tang Soong knew this well. So, as long as Gu Feixi didn't bring it up, Tang Soong wouldn't either.

Gu Feixi's expression changed, and he drove off without acknowledging Mo Li.

Mo Li stood there, frustrated, and shouted, "Gu Feixi, what do you mean by this?" Any good impression she had of him vanished instantly.

Gu Feixi was too preoccupied with the name that had just appeared on his phone to care about Mo Li. His mind was consumed by it.

But then, the phone rang again, displaying the same name.

"Mi Qi'an."

Mo Li was left behind once more, fuming but powerless to stop him. She could only watch him go.

Gu Feixi was still hesitating about whether to answer Mi Qi'an's call when suddenly the call ended. Well, that saved him the trouble of deciding.

He decided to drive home to visit his grandfather. Mi Qi'an had always been his grandfather's favorite, so he often associated the two together.

It was rare for Feixi to visit the Gu Mansion, so he hadn't seen his grandfather in a while.

When Mr. Mi, the old butler, saw Feixi return, he was so excited that he immediately came over to greet him.

"Young Master, what a nice surprise! Miss Mi just stopped by, and now you're here too," Mr. Mi said, leaving Feixi momentarily frozen.

"Miss Mi?" Feixi asked, surprised, looking at Mr. Mi.

"Yes," Mr. Mi replied with a cheerful smile.

Feixi felt a slight tremor run through him. Mi Qi'an was back, and she was at the Gu Mansion.
