Gu Feixi suddenly found himself telling Mo Li everything, something he never expected to do.

First, Gu Feixi drove to a nearby pharmacy to get some ointment for Mo Li's foot, then stopped by a store to buy her a pair of flat shoes. His thoughtfulness was genuinely heartwarming.

Mo Li was grateful for Gu Feixi's kindness. Even though the day had started on a sour note, she understood that he had been hurt too.

Gu Feixi took Mo Li to an elegant vegetarian restaurant. In the private dining room, they chatted, and Gu Feixi opened up about everything that had happened with Mi Qi'an. It was the first time he had been so open with someone.

"So that's how it is," Mo Li remarked thoughtfully.

Gu Feixi nodded and then asked Mo Li, "What about you? What have your past relationships been like?"
