C12 Nuckelavee

I said, "Hello, Father." While staring at him, I was tapping both of my thumbs together. It's kind of a thinkable matter why he is here. What exactly does he want? Did my brother send him here?

Father approached me and took a seat in front of me. Then, as usual, he placed his rosary on the table and stated, "You haven't been to church in a week. As a result, I've come to visit you. Are you all OK, my child? "

I gave a little smile and responded, "Yes, father, I am OK. I'm sorry, but I wasn't able to attend. I was busy with some essential matters. "

Father Mac gave me a sweet smile but didn't ask about the situation. He bluntly inquired of me, "What happened to Maxilin? Is he all right?"

Wyiner's Aside.

It seemed obvious to me. He's only come to find out where Maxilin is. "Maxilin, isn't here, father," I murmured as I stopped tapping my fingers. I'm sure father is aware of everything. He didn't show up on his own.

Father asked, "Where is he?" "It's a top-secret mission, father. I'm sorry, but I can't say it to you, "I told him straight up.

"I know you're a leader, Wyiner. and you will think about the consequences no matter what you do. I have no doubts about your decision. But is it alright to leave him there alone? "Father asked.

Wyiner picked up his calligraphy pen and began scribbling on a piece of paper. She then added, "He is no longer a child, but rather an adult. He can decide whether or not to do something. We can't lock him up. " "This is his truth," I repeated. "Let him find the truth." Hearing me, Father smiled gently and grabbed his rosary in his hand. "You are right. On the other hand, finding the truth might be risky at times. It takes a large number of lives, "Father said.

He got up and went out of my room, as he stated. I put down my pen and gazed at his route. Perhaps you are right, but in order to gain anything, we must first lose something.

On the other hand,

Maxilin fell asleep unexpectedly. His slumber, however, was not as deep as it may have been. Suddenly, he opened his eyes a little, hearing a sound. He always awoke, even if he heard a tiny sound around him. Despite the fact that it was so low.

I half-opened my eyes as soon as I heard footsteps. In the dim light, I noticed a girl entering my room and checking the glass. For a short period, she stood near the table. and then abruptly turned to face me. I instantly shut my eyes. I had a feeling she was approaching me. What brings her here, though? Is she checking on me to see if I'm awake or asleep? I heard someone slowly close the door after a few minutes. I then opened my eyes. I sat on the bed for a split second before hearing my Hawki's sounds.

'kack' 'kack'.

I stood up and moved closer to the window. I noticed that the breeze was much colder than before. I peered around but couldn't see anything in the moonlight.

The room seemed colder to me. I heard a horse neighing and then a clopping sound all of a sudden. However, it appeared to be in the vicinity of this house. I moved closer to the window and glanced down. Something was moving down, but I couldn't see it clearly due to the tree. The sounds of horses clopping eventually faded away. I didn't even pause for a second. It's possible that if I use the front entrance, I'll be late.

So, as I had planned, I used the window. I held the window plate and glanced down. I leaped from there without hesitation and landed on the ground.

As I stood up, I whistled. My Hawki responded when he heard my whistle.

'Kack'.

I hurried out of the home while holding my sword. As soon as Maxilin stepped out of the village, he began gazing around. However, he was unable to find any trace of the beast.

"How could it have vanished in this way? I noticed its shadow here, "I murmured as I began sniffing the air. Every demon or monster has a distinct odor. So I went out of my way to figure it out, but I couldn't. I was taking my time walking. The moon was huge in the sky, just above my head.

I was walking down the street when I noticed a horse's imprint on the ground. I knelt there, my eyes narrowing. I ran my fingers over it and gripped it. However, that soil was quite sticky. I attempted to sniff it, and it smelled like blood.

I stood up and stared straight ahead. I was perched on the crest of a little abyss. I could see the furious sea's keen glare as I peered straight ahead.

Maxilin's Aside.

I'm really close to the sea. Perhaps that monster is headed to the seashore. I'm not sure whether that creature I'm thinking about and dreaming about is real or not. Slowly, I began strolling towards the seashore.

Hawki flew above my head as I approached the shoreline and began strolling. I took up my sword and kept my eyes wide open. What happened to it? How could it have vanished so quickly?

After a short walk, I couldn't find anything. I came to a halt and gazed out over the sea. The sea water looked sparkling due to the moonlight.

'clop' 'clop'

I heard a noise. As soon as I heard it, I whirled around to see what it was. No, there isn't anyone. My eyes narrowed as I drew my sword from my sheath. because the sword's gem began to shine brightly and get heated. I gripped my sword in my hands.

"Max," the sea called out to me. I returned my gaze to the sea. I could only hear the waves and their loud smashing. I quickly shifted my sight away from the sea and returned. I'm well aware that this is a trick. "Stop playing and come face to face with me, coward," I said.

As I already stated, I heard a harsh laugh.

"I know you were expecting me, Maxi," replied the monster. "Stop," I urged, "and let's do it face to face."

I'm prepared to deal with it. Suddenly, a thick fog began to form all around me. The same thing happened to me in my dream. As everything filled up around me, I observed two crimson eyes in front of me. It was steadily approaching me. It became bigger and bigger as it approached me slowly. I finally spotted it at the end. That thing grinned at me.

Maxilin's Aside.

I assumed it was you. the most nefarious of devils, the nuckelavee. I took a few steps back as that thing approached me. I'm sure that it won't harm me as long as I'm near fresh water. This nuckelavee, on the other hand, standing almost 6 feet tall at the horse's head and approximately 9 feet tall at the humanoid head.

"Maxi, you asked to see me, therefore I came to reveal myself," remarked that nuckelavee, his voice cracking. "However, I don't think you will be able to defeat me," he stated. I focused my eyes and took a quick look around to assess the situation. But it's all shrouded in fog. I unexpectedly found my way to attack him. I grinned and added, "Then let's see who wins." As I previously stated, I raced to his left side and leaped onto a mound. Now it's evident that I can observe that monster from this vantage point. I didn't waste any time and leapt on him with my sword, slicing his right, long hand.

However, I chopped off his hand and moved away from him.

I heard it start laughing, and everything started to make sense.

The fog began to dissipate. I am able to see it more clearly now. With his cut hand, he turned to the source of the continuous flow of blood. His one-eyed horse appeared enraged.... His colossal head was swaying from side to side, as if about to topple. So, nuckelavee, the monster's name, comes from the term "neugle," which refers to any water spirit that takes the appearance of a horse. It's a spirit in the flesh that lives by the sea and is known as the "Devil of the Sea." He has the appearance of a horse with fin-like legs and a single gigantic eye that flames with a red flame. Like a bizarre monster, a person with a huge head is integrated along the top of the horse's body. The fact that he has no skin is the most terrible aspect of his look. The pale sinews and muscular muscles are apparent as a throbbing mass, with black blood flowing through yellow veins.

"Maxi," as it abruptly yelled my name, the chop side slowly regained his hand. His hand took on a new shape. When I glanced at the horse, I noticed that black smoke was flowing out of his mouth. It appeared to be enraged. I think I made a bad mistake. This bastard's weaknesses are rain, freshwater, and smoke from the burning of seaweed. My sword will not be effective against him. I gritted my teeth and gave him a cold stare. "Nuckelavee, it's better if you go," I urged. As soon as he heard me, he burst out laughing. "Damn boy! "You're making me laugh," he shouted. While speaking, he stretched his massive hand, and the sea stones began to tremble. The stone on which I was standing began to tremble as well. I stared at him after holding the stone. However, I noticed a large spear came into his hand from nowhere. That spear was crafted from a human skeleton. "So, Maxilin, do you suppose you've made up your mind to help those people?" asked the monster. I rose up and yelled at the top of my lungs, "Isn't it apparent to you?" He added, with a smirk, "I'm not sure why you're so well known in our monster league. But I have a feeling that with my spear, I'll be able to easily slay this tiny guy. " I drew my brows together and stared. I don't have any fresh water right now. So, how am I going to beat him? But in a split second, that jerk slammed against the stone. When I leaped off, I realized that the hard stone had shattered into a thousand pieces in an instant. Damn, it seems like I underestimated him. As I landed on the ground, I felt another attack from behind. I took another step back and shielded that strike with my sword. "Maxilin, sooner or later you will help our lord if not your doom is imminent," that scoundrel whispered quietly. dammit! I stared at his bloodshot eyes. There were no orbs in his eyes, and it appeared that fire was emanating from them. "If you cooperate with us, Maxi, we will be able to dominate the world together. My Lord will not let you down., "that knucklehead stated. He's putting extra pressure on me right now. and I tightened my fists. "I'm going to take your lord's head off his body and feed it to all creatures," I said. He burst out laughing when he heard me. However, my chest began to ache all of a sudden. Something had a firm grip on my chest. My heart appeared to want to break through my flesh and flee.

"Ahh".

I gasped in agony, and my grasp loosened abruptly. No, not just now. But that jerk took advantage of the situation and tossed me away in a flash. I slipped and fell in the sand. I raised my sword and stared at it. With a kinky smirk, the 9-foot behemoth is approaching me. That's exactly what I dreamed about.

Is it really possible that I'll lose this war? I drew a deep breath and looked down. I rose up, clutching my chest and wielding my sword once again. "Do you still think you can defeat me, maxi?" he asked.

"You'd best be ready to detach your head from your body," I urged. As I already stated, I drew out my machete sword and flung it at his spear-wielding hand.

He yelled in anguish as his hand detached from the body, and in a split second, another hand emerged from the same spot. I didn't waste any time and dashed over to it. But with his other hand, he flung me. I whacked myself in the head with a stone. Damn it!

I reached out to grasp my sword, but the horse kicked it away. I could now hear the horse breathing. I couldn't believe how close it was to me. The black smoke began to encircle me gradually. I put my hand over my nose to keep the smoke out. My chest ache, on the other hand, was gradually becoming worse. I cautiously rose up, but I couldn't see anything due to the thick black smoke. I took out my blade and took a look around.

"Maxi".

His hoarse voice could be heard all throughout the place. But then I saw my sword. It shone brightly enough that I could see it through the smoke. I went towards it as soon as I had the chance, but something like a rope seized my one leg. The monster then spoke up.

"It's not going to be easy."
