Good: Strong, level minded FL. Equally strong ML who supports, but does not dominate the FL. Avoids many cliches.
Bad: poor translation and editing.
Note: there is a strong sense of nationalism in this novel. But it’s interesting to see the Chinese POV of the world in the 90s.
