Good story until the characters become so annoying

It had a promising start, quick paced and tragic story but after the reincarnation (not transmigration), the FL didn’t really become smarter and able. The main characters, side characters, the antagonists are all very extreme and unpleasant to read about. Not sure if it’s the translation that miss the mark but honestly, none of the character in the book are worth rooting for; They are all very dumb and not in a cute way because the author says they are “pure” and “naive”.
