C2 An Unexpected Journey

Jane slept pondering about many things and wake up too in the same manner. As soon as got up, she called her mother that she is going to USA for a job. Her family was surprised and delighted at the same time. She hung up the phone after telling that she would be home by the evening of 28 December. She could not wait for three days to pass and at closing of department on third day, after giving application for leave to the department she boarded a bus to her hometown. Everything is looking simple on surface but in Jane's mind there is a mess of thoughts. She is busy in planning how she will go to airport and so more. What exactly she was thinking, "I will go home and buy things that are necessary for starting a new life there. I will earn more there and can also continue my PhD Research work. In about a year I will be well settled. I'll be able to give my family everything they needed." She reached home and planned everything for the journey and life there. Finally, on 29 December she left her home country to go to foreign one. With the happiness of a new job, career and a bit sadness of leaving her family, she started a new journey of her life. She has no idea what future will unfold to her. As soon as boarded the flight and got a seat near the window, she felt a bit relaxed. She was just near to sleep when a thought hit her mind. She just recalled a glimpse of her dream where she saw a boy claiming himself her husband, whom she has never seen let alone met. From the day of that dream onwards she started feeling as if she was really in love with that guy whom she never knows. She decided that only he would be her husband one day and thus always kept imagining her life with him. Now, alone traveling to a strange country, she started fantasizing that may be it is a beginning of her story. But one thing which she is still ignorant about is that she has never applied to that job for which she was selected. But due to joy that job has brought to her life, she has not bother once to check her application for different jobs.

How then such a big Restaurant has come to know of her, a simple girl and selected her? Is their any conspiracy or her love that had brought her to USA?
