"This …" The waiter had an awkward expression, but when he saw the broken silver, a sly look flashed across his eyes. In the next moment, he leaned close to the man and whispered to him.
In the end, the man waved his hand in satisfaction. The waiter then took the silver and ran to the kitchen. Soon, he brought out something important and brought it to the table.
"Young lady, young gongzi, have a good meal." The waiter bent over and gave Rong a deep smile.
Rong Chen didn't look at him, but nodded and pushed all the food in front of Cheng Xiu, watching him eat breakfast. Occasionally, Cheng Xiu stuffed a dumpling or glutinous rice into his mouth, but Rong Chen didn't refuse.
"Miss treats your little brother so well." A laughing voice rang out.
Rong Shen raised his head and looked at the man standing by the table. The man was gentle, wearing a brocade robe, and his smile gave people a good impression of him.
It was the one who had pulled the waiter to ask the questions. Only the man walked over. His companion was still sitting there, looking over here.
Rong Chen retracted his gaze and ignored him. Instead, he turned to Cheng Xiu and asked, "Have you finished eating?"
Cheng Xiu had been wiping his mouth when the man came over, and he nodded when he heard the question.
"Then let's go." Rong Chen stood up and Cheng Xiu followed her. They didn't even look at the man at the table. Cheng Xiu automatically held his hand and left the inn with her.
As soon as Rong Chen and Cheng Xiu left, the man's companion got up and walked over. Seeing that the man's expression wasn't good, he lowered his voice and cautiously asked, "Brother Liu, how was it?"
"Humph!" She ignored me. " The man surnamed Liu's face darkened. He turned around and looked in the direction that Rong Chen had left, his eyes filled with malice.
"It's impossible for her to look down on someone like Brother Liu. She's probably playing the game of capturing someone by force." His companion saw that the other party's face was ugly so he quickly smiled and complimented him.
The man surnamed Liu's face really did look a lot better after he was complimented like that. Thinking about Rong Chen's face, his eyes flashed with determination.
She didn't know that she was being watched by a man. She took Cheng Xiu outside for the whole morning and only returned to the inn after lunch. They passed by that man on the first floor of the inn.
The man was smiling and talking to a girl beside him. He ignored her, but the girl lowered her head and blushed when she saw him.
Out of the corner of his eye, Liu Zhiyuan caught a glimpse of Rong Chen leading Cheng Xiu away. He retracted his gaze and looked at the woman in front of him.
In the afternoon, Rong Chen did not bring Cheng Xiu out. Instead, he took a good nap and sat downstairs, saving his energy for the evening of the shadow show.
Liu Zhiyuan was sitting at a table at the side. His gaze was focused on Rong Chen without any attempt to conceal himself. However, he didn't continue to talk to him.
After sitting for a while, Liu Zhiyuan's companion walked over, his eyes quickly swept over Rong Chen's side, and finally whispered into Liu Zhiyuan's ear, "It's done."
Liu Zhiyuan's eyes lit up. When he looked again, his eyes were filled with excitement.
"Deep." Cheng Xiu reached out and grabbed her fingers, calling out to her.
Originally, Rong Chen had his hand on his chin as he looked out at the street, but when he heard him call out to him, he looked away and asked, "What happened? Want to go back to your room? "
Cheng Xiu pursed his lips but didn't say anything. He turned to look at Liu Zhiyuan, frowning.
