"This day has really come..." Elena mumbled to herself as the door to her cell opened.

It was finally the day of the trial.

"How do I get out of this?" Elena thought, tears stinging the corners of her eyes. The sound coming out of her mouth was muffled; she no longer had the strength to cry.

"I have been crying nonstop, pleading to you, moon goddess for your divine intervention
