jump down from the pull-up bar and put my hands on my knees as I try to catch my breath. I’ve been trying to work off this anxious energy for the last hour and a half. Trying to remind myself that if I give Ellie space, she’ll come to me. Trying to remind myself I had no right to touch her to begin with.
