There was a tracking device in her necklace which was the main reason I bought the set for her; so I could install a tracking device in it.

Or at least, that was what I tried to tell myself.

I totally didn't buy it because I felt bad for destroying the one that bastard got for her and needed to replace it. It was a win-win situation
