Chu Yuan seemed pleased with her reaction, lifting his chin as he asked, "Do you know which beast taming arena on the Twilight Cloud Continent sells the most and the most valuable creatures?"

"I didn't realize creatures could be sold," Xueling replied, answering his question with one of her own.

Chu Yuan felt slightly deflated but explained patiently, "Of course they can. Why else do you think everyone is so eager to become a beast tamer? Creatures are ranked by level, and the higher the level, the stronger their attack power. Even if they're not spirit beasts, some wild beasts have attack power that can rival a skilled fighter at the blue tier. While they might not fight alongside humans, their attack power is nothing to scoff at."

"So, is the arena in front of us the one with the most and most valuable creatures on the Twilight Cloud Continent?" Xueling asked, now understanding the situation and responding to his earlier question.

Chu Yuan flicked his long sleeves with pride and smiled broadly. "Naturally. You should know that my arena has a master-level beast tamer in charge. Every few months, they manage to tame a spirit beast."

"Impressive." Although Soong Xueling was still playing along, there wasn't much enthusiasm in her voice.

Chu Yuan began to wonder if his beast arena was really not that impressive after all. "Come on, the beast I personally hunted for you is over there."

The place where the beast was kept was a massive iron cage, and the two of them could clearly see inside from where they stood.

Soong Xueling had never seen a beast like this before, and upon first glance, she was startled. Its coat was a striking pattern of stripes, its gaze fierce, and it occasionally bared its long, sharp fangs.

Sensing someone nearby, the giant tiger suddenly arched its body and let out a deafening roar in their direction.

"It is impressive," she replied, though her words were more of a polite acknowledgment than genuine praise.

Chu Yuan wasn't too pleased with Soong Xueling's dismissive attitude. He wanted to say more, but she had already moved on to the main topic. "What should I do now? Is there a set process for taming beasts?"

The fiercer the beast, the longer it takes to tame, because their guard is up, making it hard to fully trust the tamer."

Soong Xueling frowned at this. A gentle and harmless aura? Did she ever have something like that?
