Chu Yuan was amused by Soong Xueling's rare, adorable expression, his voice clearly filled with delight. "Yes, you need to go into the cage, but it's not like I'm asking you to get up close and personal with the beast. Didn't you just ask me about the steps of taming animals? Soong Xueling looked down at her small frame, then up at the massive beast in the cage, still in disbelief. She suddenly wondered if the reason there were so few beast tamers around was that they all got eaten by these creatures.

Xueling's expression was so endearing that Chu Yuan couldn't resist giving her cheek a playful pinch. "Silly girl, since I'm asking you to go in, I've obviously prepared for it. As long as you stay within that marked area, the beast won't dare attack you."

Xueling didn't bother with Chu Yuan's little gesture and followed his gaze into the cage, noticing a small white area near the door.

"Are you sure?" Xueling was still worried. Her current strength was quite limited, so she had to be cautious about everything.

"Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you," Chu Yuan replied with unwavering confidence.

Xueling nodded, now completely calm. Chu Yuan had no reason to harm her, so what he said must be true. With that thought, she took a deep breath, looked at Chu Yuan, and said, "Alright, I'm going in."

The words carried a sense of finality, almost like a farewell. Chu Yuan couldn't help but chuckle, but he nodded seriously. "Alright."

The cage door swung open, and Soong Xueling stepped inside. The massive tiger inside let out a few more roars but didn't move toward her. Standing in the designated white area, Xueling locked eyes with the giant beast, creating a tense standoff.

Time ticked by, and their gazes seemed glued to one another. In the tiger's eyes, Xueling saw violence, ferocity, and indifference... yet, deep within, there was a hint of curiosity.

The tiger's eyes seemed to flicker, and then it let out a low growl, slowly lowering itself to the ground, shedding its earlier ferocity.

Outside the cage, Chu Yuan was utterly stunned. He had just witnessed Xueling simply staring down the beast, with no other action, and assumed she was scared.

He was about to tell her not to push herself, that they could take their time with this, when he saw the fierce beast, which had just been strutting around, suddenly lie down calmly.

Chu Yuan forced himself to stay calm, but when he looked up, he saw Xueling stepping out of the designated area, walking toward the beast. The beast was also slowly getting up from the ground, and Chu Yuan's heart skipped a beat!
