This may not be surprising, but a mosquito about the size of a bat is creepy.

Those fellows, their mouthparts were as good as a syringe used to insert needles into pigs.

Not to mention being bitten by it, just imagining it made one's back break out in a cold sweat.

Not one or two mosquitoes of this size, but a swarm.
