Divorce with a baby plot like Swiss cheese

Basically nothing was resolved in the entire novel, and there were so many loose ends. The plot dragged on certain plot points and didn’t flesh out other plot points. The main couple, mu wei loses her memories and after regaining them, just decides to forgive chu moting for everything for no apparent reason. There was never a moment they actually talked out their issues. Halfway through, the focus switches to ninth master and wei zijin/su Huang. After all the harm he inflicted on her, he forces zijin to stay with him in the end. He should have just let her and her sister live a peaceful life in the remote mountain village. Her sister su qiyang ends up marrying her rapist and abuser mu feng, who also really doesn’t do much to repent or earn her forgiveness. Essentially, all the women end up with trashy men not worth sh*t. Shangguan Jue seemed to be a random side character with no real purpose and unclear intentions. They never addressed hai yue not actually being ninth masters real mom. What was the point of this plot line? They say situ xia was “dealt with” in the end. But how? What about everyone else who wanted to kill su Huang? So many holes this plot is like Swiss cheese. If you want straight up drama with no resolutions, then give it a shot.
