C12 Chapter 12

She stopped on her tracks when she noticed that he was coming toward her.

"Was he going to give those to her?" She thought blinking her eyes repeatedly as he walked towards her.

Her heart race quickened while she blinked her eyes. It was like a slow moment to her.

Dan's face was expressionless but when he remembered Ethan's words. He forced a smile on his lips. He's doing all these so that he won't be indebted towards her. He hated being indebted to someone.

He moved closer to her with a smile while Melanie watched in awe and then he stretched out the flowers towards her gently followed by gasps.

"Is he really giving out the flowers to her"

"Gosh! Does he like her now!

"I hate her, she seduced him!"

"Gosh! I love his smiles!"

"OMG! She's so lucky!"

Melanie's eyes widened as soon as he stretched the flowers to her and her jaws slightly dropped.

*What the heck is happening here? Was the devil suddenly replaced with a kind angel?* She thought.

"Doc,,,"

"Thank you. Thank you for your help the other day" His gentle voice came and Melanie felt like she could melt.

He almost scoffed when she didn't move so he held her hands and gave the flowers to her.

Everyone gasped and mornings commenced again. Doc Judy watched in pure jealousy while Doc Jacob who was just coming in stood shocked as he watched the both of them.

"She seduced Doc Dan!" Doc Judy said and stormed into the hospital.

"See you later" He added with a smile and walked off leaving Melanie in complete shock.

Melanie walked towards her closet still holding the flowers and a smile escaped her lips. She opened her drawer and saw her parents picture. She smiled and then caressed it. She smiled and brought her scrub and then wore it.

She took the flowers again smiling and touching it tenderly.

"I can see that you are really happy? Aren't you?" She heard an angry voice say and she turned and looked at the person. Just as she expected, it was Doc Jacob.

"Doc Jacob, why are you here?" She asked.

"Oh! Now you're asking why I am here?" He said angrily and rushed towards her holding her roughly by her shoulders.

"What are you doing Jacob, stop it!" She yelled out angrily.

"I told you that I am damn in love with you but you took it for a joke. Do you love Dan Dan now or is it because of his money?" He yelled and Melanie fred herself from him and gave him a tight slap.

"I don't owe you any right to an explanation" She said and He forcefully kissed her while she tried to push him off but he wouldn't budge.

*You are mine Melanie*He said to himself while kissing her forcefully and she bit his lips and forcefully broke the kiss.

"Doc Melanie" Another chill voice said and a chill ran down her spine.

"Doc Dan" She said and faced him. She honestly hoped he didn't what had happened earlier.

"What's going on here?" He asked.

"Huh? It's nothing!" She said with a fake smile.

"Come on, let's go. We need to attend to our special patient" He said looking at them suspiciously.

"See you later baby" Jacob said and tried to peck her but she moved back glaring at him.

Dan looked at them and took a look at Jacob again and then he smirked.

He was sure now that's something was going on between them.

"I will be right there!" She said with a cracked voice and Dan nodded. Jacob walked away with a smile and Dan followed suit.

"You stop there!" Dan raised his voice and Jacob turned to look at him.

Jacob turned back and looked around.

"Me!" He said with a smirk.

"Who else?" Dan muttered and walked gracefully towards him. He smirked and suddenly punched him taking Jacob aback.

"What the hell man!" Jacob yelled and raised his fists trying to punch him.

"Try it and I'm gonna make sure you rot in jail for trying to force yourself on a woman" Dan said and Jacob looked at him shocked.

"Yeah, i saw everything and I even took a photo of it" He said and pulled him by the collar.

"I don't give second chances but I will this time thanks to Melanie. If you ever try to harass her again, I will make sure that Melanie wonders what happened to you" He said and pushed him off before he wiped his fists with handkerchief and then walked off.

Unknown to them, Melanie stood by a corner watching them.
