C21 Chapter 21

Chelsea..." He called before pulling her into a tight hug.

Chelsea was surprised by the sudden hug but she felt something was wrong with him. Yeah! he does not look okay at all.

Ethan sighed and he disengaged from the hug. He didn't know how much he missed her until he saw her. He damn misses her and seeing her just made his anger dissipate. Chelsea smiled at him before she asked.

"Are you okay?" She asked him worriedly and he sighed.

He remembered what happened earlier and sighed again.

"I'm not okay at all. every thing is just damn complicated and I am so tired of it!" Ethan said.

"You can share it with me. remember I'm always here to listen.." Chelsea with a reassuring smile. Ethan nodded and then smiled before he hugged her.

A hug was just what he really needs at the moment and he was thankful that she was there to give it to him.

He broke the hug staring at her with a smile.

"Come on..." He said and held her hand ad squeezed it gently before walking away with her.

Melanie sighed and came out of the Rose's ward.

Everything was just complicated right now. She stopped walking when she sighted that lady from yesterday. The lady that came with Dan.

"Wait, what's she doing here again?" She thought and found herself getting angry.

The lady smiled when she saw her. She immediately walked up towards her.

"Hii..." She said with a bright smile.

Melanie was tempted to roll her eyes but she didn't.

"Hi..." She faked a smile.

"Do you where Dan's office is? I brought lunch for him" She said raising the lunch bag and Melanie rolled her eyes.

'You should have asked the receptionist,, not me" She told her.

"Oh! I just thought to ask you again!" She said.

"Oh well! you seem really close with Dan.." Melanie paused and sighed and and then she asked an unexpected question without thinking twice.

"Do you like Dan?!" Melanie suddenly asked but regretted saying it.

"What?" Rachael said with her eyes wide open. she was taken aback with the question she asked.

"Oh! I'm sorry I..."

"Rachael, you are here..." Dan's voice suddenly interrupted them.

"Oh! Gosh! what have I gotten myself into? what if she tells Dan what I told her. I'm so done for" Melanie thought shivering.

Rachael turned to face Dan with a bright smile.

"Here I brought you lunch..." She said raising up the lunch bag.

"Thanks..." Dan said.

"Really? he sets the rule and breaks it?" Melanie thought.

"It's not even break yet..." Melanie muttered but unknown to her Dan heard it.

He moved closer to her and whispered to her ears.

"Don't worry, I don't plan on breaking the rules" He said with a smile and immediately Melanie's cheeks grew hot. She immediately bit her cheeks to stop her from blushing but her cheeks already failed her.

"Excuse me.." She said and was about leaving.

"Melanie.." He suddenly said. It was the first time he called her name like this.

Melanie calmed herself down and turned back.

"Meet me in the Lab when you are done" He said with another smile and then he did something she never expected. He winked at her.

immediately she felt her heart racing fast. she sighed and unconsciously touched her chest.

"What's wrong with me?" She thought and but her dinner cheeks.

Melanie stood rooted on the spot as she watched him leave.

"What the hell just happened to him? He winked at her. A smile escaped her lips and she shook her head.

"What the hell is happening to her?" She thought.

Dan on the other hand kept on smiling remembering Melanie's red cheeks. He didn't know why he finds her cute, so cute.

Rachael smiled when she saw Dan smiling to himself.

Finally he met someone to take his cold heart. She knows that something was definitely going on between him and the lady. The lady was definitely jealous earlier. She kept on smiling to herself.

"Ethan..." Chelsea called and held his hands.

"She needs you now. This time she needs you the most. You can't just leave her. And besides you can't tell me that you don't love her any more.." Chelsea said with a very bright smile but she knows that she is hurting right now. it felt like her heart was tearing into million pieces.

Nobody asked her to fall for him but her foolish heart still chose him. Her stupid heart still fell for him despite knowing every thing and Now he already found the love of his life and she's left hurting.

Ethan looked at her and smiled at her. He squeezed her hands lightly and then stood up.

"Thanks a lot for this Chelsea. Thanks for being my friend..." He said.

"You are one of the best things that happened to me and I don't ever regret meeting you.." He said with a smile and pecked her cheeks and that made Chelsea's heart raced more faster.

Chelsea faked a chuckle.

"Go now, she must be waiting for you. don't keep her waiting" Chelsea said still wearing the bright smile.

"I will go now.." He said and left her hand almost immediately. He smiled at her one more time and then suddenly ran off.

Chelsea released the breath that she was holding and she didn't know when tears started to fall from her eyes.

"What's wrong with me?" She said and wiped her tears but it still kept on falling.

"Aish!..." She groaned and hit her chest and then started sobbing.

"My heart loves the wrong person yet again.." She muttered as she continued to sob hitting her chest repeatedly.

"I do not want to fall inovr again, but my heart still keeps making me do that and it hurts a lot.." She sobbed.

The unknown dropped the cigarette on the table. He brought out his phone and dailed the number.

"All set..." He asked with a sly smile playing on his lips.

"Yeah.." the other person responded.

"Okay.." He said and hung up and he smiled more widely.

"I can't wait for it to happen.."

"Your end is soon Kim Dan and all your wealth will be mine..." He said.
