What the hell are you doing? Get the hel...."

She couldn't complete her statement because he smashed his lips on hers angrily.

It was Melanie turned to be shocked.

"Her boss was kissing her. He was doing what she had least expected and it was so shocking.

She felt her heart race more faster, her cheeks grow hot and her eyes closing voluntarily.

She couldn't deny that she was enjoying the kiss, as soon as she delcing more deeper in the kiss, her eyes opened and it widened.

it was just as if she regained her senses, she immediately pushed him off.

He too seemed shocked at what he did. He couldn't control himself anymore. He just couldn't any more.

She stared at him shocked and unable to say a word, her eyes glistening.

"Mel..." He couldn't complete her statement because she hurriedly opened the door and ran out.

"Aish!" Dan groaned and ran his hand into his head. This was so frustrating.

"What was that?" He yelled at himself.

These feelings, he couldn't deny it anymore. Yeah, he could do it any more. These feelings were enough to drive him crazy and right now, it's driving him crazy more.

"How did I even fall in love with that stubborn brat. How did I?" He muttered.

"Gosh!" He said and sighed again.

This had never happened to him before. He was just too confused at the moment. He didn't know what to do.

Melanie ran hurriedly not minding the stares of people who thought that she was mad or some thing. She got into her car and sighed deeply before she placed her head on the sterling and she remembered the kiss again.

"No, no, I shouldn't remember that but why do I keep remembering it?" She asked herself.

"But it felt good. really good.So damn good!" She said and touched her lips. She giggled but then suddenly stopped when an idea struck her.

"What if he's just toying with your emotions?

What if he is just fooling you in order to win the challenge?

" Don't you know the personality of Kim Dan?" The thought came niggling at her.

"What's with me? Why am I so happy that he kissed me and why is my heart always beating fast? Could it be that I've fallen for him?" She asked herself.

Oh God!

"Damn you Melanie! You've fallen for the wrong person?

"What if he doesn't love you?" Her subconscious screamed at her and tears began to form in her eyes and it slowly dropped.

She suddenly looked up and saw him, Dan running over to her car. She sniffed and without thinking twice, she immediately drove off.

She got home but didn't meet Chelsea at home. It was not yet time for her to back from work. She removed her shoes and fell on her bed.

"How stupid of me to fall in love with me? A guy that only hates me!" She said and bursted into tears.

"How I wish I never met you Kim Dan..." She yelled at no one in particular.

Later.

Dan was in his room thinking of different ways to reach Melanie? One, he doesn't have her contact number.

Just then Ethan opened the door and walked in.

"Next time, you knock" He snapped at Ethan who chuckled. Ethan paused noticing his worried look.

"You look troubled, is anything the problem?' He asked.

"Nothing" He said coldly and stood up.

"Oh really! you can't hide any thing from me, I'm your brother. you can tell me any thing" Ethan urged him and Dan scoffed.

He was about walking out when he heard him speak.

"I know you like her, Doc Melanie"

Dan turned back immediately.

"Was it that obvious?" He asked.

"Yeah, you were so jealous yesterday,I knew you had feelings for her but I never expected it to be this strong" Ethan told him with smiles on his face.

"I'm happy you finally like some one" Ethan said but Dan sighed.

"I kissed her..." He blurted out and Ethan's eyes widened in surprise.

"What?" He said standing up.

"Yeah, I didn't know what came over me. I was just mad at the fact that she is going on a blind date so I kissed her but now, she doesn't even want to talk to me" He groaned running his hands into his hair.

"And I badly want to talk to her but it's just so complicated.." Dan said groaning again. Ethan walked closer to him and patted both of his shoulders

" You need to man up. You need to tell her how you feel so she won't think that you are joking with her feelings" He said and Dan looked at him.

"You mean, I should tell her that I love her" He said with a frown and Ethan chuckled.

"Yeah or else I'm sure she wouldn't want to ever talk to you" He said and Dan sighed.

"No sane lady will ever want to talk to you after that happened so you need to talk to her, clear out your feelings for her.." Ethan advised him and Dan sighed again.

"Falling in love is so complicated than I thought. Right now, I can't get her out of my head. All my thoughts are about her" He said and sat on the bed.

"What did she do to me?" He asked Ethan.

"I really just can't think straight...." He muttered again and Ethan smiled.

"He kissed you?" Chelsea asked her eyes widened.

"Yeah" She nodded with a grim look and Chelsea screamed but Melanie immediately pulled her to sit on the bed.

"Don't be so happy. I'm sure he did it to get back at me" She said with teary eyes.

"What?" Chelsea said looking at her confused.

"Wait, are you sure? do you even know what you are saying?" Chelsea asked her.

"Yes Chels, I'm so stupid to fall in love with him. Do you know how much he hates me? Remember how much I hated him before? That's how much he hates me. He just kissed me to get back at me and I'm sure tomorrow he will tell me,

"It's just a mistake"

"But Mel, what If he had fallen for you too?" Chelsea asked with concern and Melanie chuckled dryly.

"You never know.." Chelsea added but Melanie shook her head in disagreement.

"If you were there when he spoke so rudely to me just before he kissed me, it's much mistake to fall for him, it's a very big mistake. I'm sure that he just wants me to lose the challenge" She said and tears poured from her eyes.

"But who told you this?" Chelsea asked.

"I know it. My instincts are never wrong, that I'm sure of" She said and wiped her tears.

"Mel..." Chelsea said and pulled her into a warm embrace.

"Don't always just jump into conclusions, hear from him first and you never know he might be in love with you too.." Chelsea said caressing her hair but Melanie shook her head.

"It's never possible!" She said and there was a pause as the two best friends just hugged each other.

"Chelsea, I have decided" She suddenly said and Chelsea immediately pulled away from the embrace.

"What?" She asked.

"Are you going to talk to him or what?" Chelsea asked again.

"No that, I have decided some thing more important" Melanie said in tears.

More tears poured from her eyes and she quickly wiped them off.

"I've decided to resign..." Melanie said with a determined look.
