C28 Chapter 28

Rose groaned and sat up. Ethan was beside her, holding her hands and his head on the bed. She smiled and caressed his hair gently and then caressed his face and just then he stirred and gently opened his eyes.

"You're awake.." He said with a smile and sat up.

"Are you okay?" He asked worriedly and she nodded.

"I'm fine, you should stop getting worried for me like that.." She muttered and Ethan sighed.

"I just can not help it. Are you really sure that you are okay?" He asked again as he touched her hair.

"Hmmn, I'm perfectly fine.." She said and Ethan Ethan closed his eyes before having a sigh of relief.

"I have some thing to tell you.." He said.

"Go on.." She urged.

"Hm, My friend is coming to see you. Do you mind?" He asked and she smiled and shook her head.

"Of course not" She said with a smile.

A knock was heard on the door.

"Come in..." Rose said and Chelsea came in.

"Who are you?" She asked and Ethan looked up.

A smile curved up on his lips and he stood up and ran towards her before pulling her into a tight hug shocking both Chelsea and Rose at the same time.

Chelsea blinked repeatedly in surprise.

Ethan pulled away from the hug and dragged Chelsea who was still shocked.

"Mi...So, Here's my friend, her name is Chelsea.." He said and Chelsea smiled and waved at her.

Rose smiled at her and signalled for Ethan to come closer and he did.

"Are you sure that she won't tell any one about my illness. You know it's a secret..." She whispered to him and he nodded.

"Yeah you can trust her..." He said and she smiled.

"I'm sorry that I did that , i just want my sickness to be private and hidden from my fansbut you're welcome" Rose said with a smile.

"I understand perfectly, no need to worry.." Chelsea said.

"I thought you were Rose but how come he calls you Mi.. So...?" Chelsea asked Curiously.

"Rose is actually my english name. My grandmother was an American so she named me Rose but Mi...So is actually my Korean name..." She said with a smile.

*She's pretty nice, so I'm sure that's why he fell in love with her* Chelsea thought.

Suddenly Rose held her head. She had been feeling slight headaches but never bothered about it.

Immediately Ethan rushed to her and Chelsea looked at her worriedly.

'Are you okay?!" They both asked simultaneously.

"Yeah..." She said and stood up with a smile.

"Are you really okay?" Chelsea asked and Rose smiled even though she already started to feel dizzy.

"I'm fine..." She suddenly fell to ground unconscious.

"Call the doctor!" Ethan yelled and immediately carried her.

"Come on, come down.." Dan said as he helped Melanie down. She looked around and smiled.

"Why are we at the park? Aren't they for Children?" She teasingly said and he smiled and touched the tip of her nose and she chuckled.

"Actually I want to experience those things i never did as a child.." He said with a sad chuckle and Melanie noticed it.

"What?" She asked confused.

"My Dad and I were sworn enemies. I never liked him till his death so I'm still surprised he gave me 95% of his wealth..." He said and Melanie looked at him surprised.

"What? But why?" She asked Curiously.

"You won't understand.." He said and Melanue sighed.

"Come on, tell me.." She urged.

"What else ? My mum died when I was 5 and ever since then My Dad loathed me so much that I wonder if I was the one that caused her death. He usually beat me up and lock me in a dark room. I wonder how a father could be so heartless to his son. Some times when I think about it, I can nor help but wonder if I'm truly his son..." He said with a grim expression.

His face was now red and dull and he was clenching his fists. He smiled sadly and faced palmed himself.

"I don't want to talk about it anymore.." He said and sighed deeply and Melanie hugged him tightly that even he was shocked.

She never knew he had such an horrible experience. Well, all humans go through their horrible experiences.

"I'm sorry..." She said softly and he smiled and wrapped his hands around her. She pulled away from him and stood on her toes and gave him a peck on his lips. She pulled away with a smile.

"What was that for? I thought you were confused? You don't like me do you? Or why am I having a feeling that you do like me? Do you know?" He said with a smirk and Melanie looked away trying to hide her flushed cheeks.

"Well, as a friend,,, I mean trying to comfort you..." She said and he chuckled and kissed her but briefly.

"What was that for?" She half yelled chuckling.

"We are friends right? So I'm comforting you with a kiss just like you.." He said and winked at her and Melanie smiled.

"You are saying what I said. That's not fair at all.." Melanie said and rolled her eyes while Dan chuckled and Melanie stared at him without blinking.

"He looks so happy and he's so changed..."

"I'm glad that I actually got to see him smile and be happy.." She thought.

Suddenly a phone call interrupted them.

He sighed seeing that the call came from the hospital.

"Yeah..." He said as soon as he picked the call.

"What?" He said and looked at Melanie.

"We are coming soon.." He said and hung up.

"What's that?" She asked.

"It's Rose..." He said.

"Again, I thought she was better..." Melanie said.

"Come on let's go..." She said.

"I really hope she survives this..." Melanie prayed silently.
