C5 Chapter 05

Melanie's eyes quickly dilated and she pushed him off her breathing heavily as she stared at Dan.

"Doc Dan, it's not what..."

"You don't need to explain. You have your personal life" He cut her off. She noticed that there was this weird look on his face.

She then averted her gaze to Doc Jacob glaring at him angrily while Dan turned to leave.

Suddenly Dan turned back

"Next time, Don't you try such in my hospital and especially when you are on duty. Separate your personal lifestyle from your job. Be professional!" He said and looked at Melanie and then walked out angrily.

Melanie immediately faced Jacob.

"Doc Jacob, are you stupid or are you a fool. Can't you see that I want nothing to do with you!" She yelled angrily.

"Look, Melanie, Calm down. Now I have gotten my answers" He said and Melanie arched her brows.

"What? Are you crazy?" She half yelled.

"Yeah, I'm crazy because I think that I am in love with you" He said and Melanie's eyes widened.

"What?" She said almost like a whisper.

Doc Jacob quickly went to her and held her hands.

"Give me a chance and I promise that you will come to like. I will quit anything for you. I stop womanizing and focus on you" He said and Melanie's jaws dropped but she quickly removed her hands from his.

"I'm sorry but I'm not interested in you. I don't like you" She stated bluntly and turned back.

"Please leave now!" She said and Jacob sighed abd left and Melanie faced front again and shook her head confusingly.

Chelsea sighed as she stopped at the house and she smiled.

She didn't have anything going so she decided to visit him.

She smiled and looked at the mansion. The mansion in which she used to leave years back. It wasn't just a mansion but a home filled with love but all that changed when....

Chelsea sighed and knocked on the gate. The gate keeper immediately opened it.

"Excuse me, who are you?" He asked.

"Can I hm,,, I mean can I see Mr Glee" She said and the gatekeeper looked at her suspiciously.

"You can't come in unless you have an appointment fixed with him and he never mentioned anything about anybody visiting him" The gatekeeper said.

"But you can call him and tell him that Chelsea is here to see him. He would understand l" Chelsea explained further.

"I'm really sorry Miss" He said.

"No please, please just wait" Catherine tried pleading.

"What's happening?" A male voice said from behind. Both Chelsea and the gatekeeper turned back.

Chelsea's eyes beamed and tears came rolling from her eyes. The man also looked surprised and emotional upon seeing him.

"Dad.." She called and ran past the gatekeeper who was watching them confusingly. She fell into her father's warm embrace.

"Chelsea, my baby. Princess, where have you been. I miss you so much" Her father muttered kissing her hair repeatedly.

Chelsea smiled and pulled away from his embrace.

"i am so sorry dad, I just wanted to be free. Mum and her wicked husband were mistreating me. I wonder why you both have to divorce" She said and a tear escaped her right eye while her father watched pitifully.

Chelsea's parents were living happily until a situation came up and they both divorced. Chelsea's mother was given the custody of her and hence she lived with her mum and her step father who was an evil man. He had attempted to rape him several times that's when she ran away and started living with her best friend.

"It's been five months now. I thought that you wouldn't come back" Her Dad said.

"I'm fine Dad, I'm actually staying with my bestie and guess what dad, I went to incheon and saw....

"( Honey)" A feminine voice was heard from behind and they both turned to see a woman, she was skinny and wore heavy make up. Her hands were on her waist as she glared at Chelsea's dad.

"Why is thing here?" She yelled out angrily and Chelsea flinched.

"Dad, Who's this?!" She asked.

"I'm your new mum bitch. You better have some respect!" The skinny lady said and Chelsea's eyes widened.

Her dad also got married. He was happily married when she went missing. She shook her head pathetically and tears dropped from them.

"Chelsea..." Her father called and she moved back, her lips slightly trembling as tears fell from her eyes.

Then she swiftly turned back and ran off.

She ran hurriedly in tears as she remembered all their happy moments. What happened to them? Why did her family have to break apart?!" She thought and she then bumped into someone.

"Oh Shit!" She heard the person say and she looked up. The person bent down and picked up the phone which had fallen from her hand.

"I'm sorry.." Chelsea said but paused when she saw his face.

The guy was handsome. Yeah, handsome but she didn't have time to drool over him.

"Yeah, apology accepted!" He said and looked at her.

His headset was already on his neck and his black jelly hair fell over his face. He was dressed casually but yet looking so hot.

"Hey Miss, you're crying!" He said and quickly brought out a handshake. He was about to use it to wipe her face when she immediately slapped his hand off.

"What do you think you're doing?" She half yelled at him and he looked at her confused.

"I'm trying to help you" He said.

"Well I don't need any of your stupid help!" She yelled and he laughed while she looked at him confused.

"Why are you so grouchy? I didn't do anything wrong!" He said and took his soft pink lips in and Chelsea scoffed.

"Get lost!" She snapped and walked away while he chuckled loudly.

'She's really so cute" He muttered as he watched her back figure walking away.

Morning.

Melanie walked in tiredly and fell on the couch sighing loudly.

She then stood up and walked to their bedroom and there was Chelsea sleeping soundly.

Melanie chuckled and kissed her hair.

"Good morning Crazy" She muttered.

Melanie yawned and opened her eyes. She had a really good sleep" She thought and stretched yawning.

"You're always late" Chelsea voice said from behind and Melanie flinched but later rolled her eyes.

She stood up smiling.

"Good morning" She said and Chelsea chuckled.

"Morning, didn't you say you are to go to work by 12pm but it's already 1pm" Chelsea said with a smirk and Melanie gasped and rushed into the bathroom.

"Once a late comer, always a late comer" Chelsea said with a chuckle.

Melanie ran more faster and entered the hospital.

"Gosh, why am I always late?" She asked herself.

She got to her office and quickly opened the door and hurriedly walked in.

*Gosh she forgot that her training with that bossy boss was going to start today*

Suddenly a nurse walked in since the door was still opened.

"Doc Melanie, Doc Dan is requesting to see you. He's been asking of you for an hour now" She said.

"What?" She said her eyes almost widening.

"Yes Doc" She said and went out.

Melanie quickly went to her locker and wore her coat before she ran to his office. She didn't even bother to knock, she just opened the door.

Dan who was operating on his laptop just looked at her and then concentrated back on his laptop.

Melanie breathed heavily and then sighed as she watched him.

Suddenly he closed his laptop and stared at her keenly.

"Miss Steven, Are you aware that you're incompetent?" He asked as he brought his phone.

"Sir, I'm sorry for coming in late" She said with her head bent low.

He scoffed and then stood up. He then took a file and then walked closer to her. He stretched the file to her and she quickly collected it.

"Follow me!" He said and Melanie scoffed.

"Where senior doctor?" She asked.

He sighed and then moved closer to her. Her eyes widened and she moved backwards out if instincts. Her back landed on the wall. He placed both his hands in both sides of the mouth and smirked leaning closer to her while Melanie gulped gard.

"What are you doing?" She managed to say fiercely and Dan smirked.

"You seem scared?!' He asked with a teasing smile and Melanie tried to push him off but she couldn't.

"I thought you said, you will last long with me!"

"Yes!" she replied as her heart raced faster.

"What the hell is happening to me?" She breathed out.

"And what if i did this.." He said and lowered his face down to hers and Melanie froze
