At c265 right now. Racism takes away from the main story.
At c370 now. I skipped all 70+ chapters of the traveling to Japan plot. Then not even 5 chapters after the mc goes back home… there’s another Japanese subplot. It’s unbearable. If I didn’t already pay upto c700, I’d ditch this garbage. There is zero plot development in the Japanese subplots. It’s literally just the mc slaughtering Japanese people just because they are Japanese, and degrading them. Over 200 chapters of that shit so far.
If you want a good story with good character development for the mc and side characters. I don’t recommend this novel.

It’s not for me. I’m probably gonna admit my mistake in buying upto c700, and stop reading this trash. I feel like I’m gonna vomit every time I see “eight! Eight” because I know a bullshit Japanese subplot is next.

It’s just Japanese subplot after Japanese subplot. Even after the mc came back from Japan… we were right back at a Japanese subplot. The pure hatred the author made the mc have for Japan doesn’t even make sense.

Because, the mc grew up in the mountains his whole life. He had no access to public schools or social media or news media. So him just right off the bat having an extreme hatred for the Japanese, makes no damn sense.

In 265 chapters, this Novel has mostly Japanese plots. Author hates Japan to the extreme…and it ruins this novel. I had to take a break because the next plot is about the mc going to Japan. And I believe that the entire plot will be just like every other Japanese plot. The mc just screaming obscenities, calling every Japanese person he meets, scum and devils.. and the Japanese will only have dialogue of “eight”.
