C5 Chapter 5

"You want to disagree with me? From now on you'll be driving day and night since you can't make money during the day. Go now!" She shouts. “Even when I'm trying my best to make you useful, you're still as useless as ever.”

"Please let me take my shirt from my room!" Daisy hits him hard in the back as he passes her. She scoffs, she's so tired of him.

Ezio comes back dressed to still meet her, staring at him with her wicked eyes, she's an epitome of the devil's daughter herself, he's laughing at her right inside him and would reward her for all she's doing to him when the time comes.

"Make sure you make a thousand to two thousand dollars. I wouldn't let you sleep in this house if you don't do that. Come back before twelve midnight, lest you'll sleep in the car. Is that clear?"

"Yes, Daisy!"

"Hey, are you out of your senses? Who's your mate? Never call me by my name, I'm superior to you. It's either you call me ma'am or you simply answer what I ask you, don't you have respect or do you think I'm in your poor, useless class?"

"No ma'am, I'm sorry."

"Will you disappear from my sight now! I don't wanna see you in a second lest my anger descends on you.." Ezio hurriedly descends the stairs before the second she talks of.

He goes to the parlor, the key is on the table, he picks it up and exits the apartment. It has started raining outside, he couldn't hear this from within.

" I'll soon be the one to punish her, I'll punish her more than this." He vows to himself as he gets into the car and drives off.

The rain gets heavier on the streets but it's not out to get passengers but going to his grandfather's estate which is now his property.

He messages him with his little phone, alerting them to open the gate for him. Within thirty minutes, he arrives at the pack estate.

He stops the car at the garage, the security personnel stand before him with an umbrella to escort him to the residence.

He sighs inside him, looking at the honor he's getting here but when he goes to his mate and mother-in-law, they treat him like trash.

When he passes through the glass door at the entrance of the building, the personnel goes back.

He walks into the elevator. He can't stop admiring the beautiful atmosphere at each of the floors, it seems like a dream to him that all these belong to him, from his father.

Jackson, his granddad, stands at the foot of the last floor to welcome him.

"Welcome my son," he stretches out his hands into an embrace for Ezio. He gets into it and his dad hugs him tight.

"Why are you wet?"

"I was under the rain before coming here, dad."

"What do you mean? I'm surprised to hear this."

"I walked from my mate's apartment to the Uber cab which is parked at the garage, then it was still raining, that's why I'm wet."

"What the hell is she thinking she's doing! Why is she treating you like a slave?" Ezio tries to calm his dad down, he already has his plan.

"Dad, I'm her slave but soon, she'll become my slave.”

"I don't get what you're trying to do, why are you enduring all these even when you've become the new Alpha, your new status and have become a billionaire?"

"Dad," he prefers to call him so as a shorter address.

"You asked me about this and I told you, you know the type of person Daisy is and her mother, if I'm willing to still stay with her, you should know what is in my mind."

"Well, but for how long? I hope you don't die one day due to the torture they're giving you."

"Don't say that dad, my new status makes me so strong even in the midst of the numerous difficulties that come my way. I know soon those who are torturing me will come to kneel at my feet."

"I support you, can't wait to experience that." Jackson jumps screaming a 'yay.' He's so happy and lively now he has got reunited with his grandson.

He was gonna squander it all in a few months. All those anxieties are history now, he's more glad than ever.

"I came to welcome you, also our conversation today would be very special, I've got something to show you."

"Wow, really? What's that?" Ezio asks?

"It's gonna be a surprise, you should calmly wait to see it."

He pulls him by the wrist through the verandah which is transparent and you can see the ground many meters away from up, the streets are glowing with golden lights, the streets on the estate.

From the last floor, he can see that this estate looks so much like a city, he mistook the streets to be the outside environment.

"I have a lot of information to share with you, a lot of things to show you."

"But dad, I need to return by 11 PM, so I can arrive at around 11:30 PM, she asked me to come back before twelve."

"Hmmm, this' 8:45 PM. Don't worry, not everything will be done today."

"That's better dad." He hastens his steps following closely behind into an underground with his dad leading the way.

Being the Alpha, Jackson has an underground vault where he stores most of the important documents of the pack and Wit-can Group, as well as their secret ancestral information. The first thing Ezio has to schooled in is this and his granddad is ready to lecture him on this.

Though he wouldn't learn everything in a day, he knows he has to start doing the necessary. With time, Ezio will be perfect like him and would get to be a very perfect Alpha.

Ezio is awed as his grandpa takes him into the innermost part, showing him all his secrets, assets and even those ones no one knows about.

"Grandpa, I never believed that one day, I'll be faced with this fortune, I'm so grateful and happy. I thought it was all over when you sent me out."

"I know you would, it's quite okay. It's a normal thing for you to be excited."

"I wanted to ask you something, grandpa."
