C11 Pilfering

There was clearly a ghost here. I couldn't keep my calm and kept kicking on the door, but I quickly realised that it was all in vain. The metal door was too sturdy, and a weak girl like me couldn't possibly kick it open.

However, I still didn't give up and continued to kick at the door, hoping that the people on duty at the hospital would be able to hear the commotion and come to my rescue.

However, as I kicked, an extremely chilly wind inexplicably blew in the morgue, startling me. I immediately realised that the act of knocking at the door was too reckless, and this was the morgue. Who knows how many of those things were hidden inside.

So I didn't dare kick it again, and I didn't dare look back right away, because the morgue, which was almost completely enclosed, couldn't be windy. It could only have been caused by those things, or maybe they were standing right behind me!

I trembled as I stood before the metal door. In reality, all of my attention was behind me as I tried to sense if there was something behind me.

After a long while, I didn't feel anything behind me before I slowly turned around. When I saw what was in front of me, my legs gave way and I collapsed onto the ground.

At this moment, the shroud on the corpses were all blown away by the strong wind and they were all clearly displayed in front of my eyes. What's even more frightening is that the heads of these corpses, without exception, all turned around and stared straight at me, making me feel as though countless dirty things were staring at me!

I felt that I wouldn't be able to hide from it this time. I couldn't help but cry, but the cry made the silent morgue even more eerie. I had no choice but to stop.

At this moment, my phone rang. I picked it up and saw that it was Liu Xiong. I immediately picked it up and told him what was going on. I asked him if there was any way to get me out of here.

"Don't be afraid first, look at the ceiling." "No," he said.

I looked up and my eyes lit up. "There's a vent!"

"That's right, this vent is connected to the entire ventilation duct of the hospital, so you can climb out if you want to," he said. "But you need to be careful not to stay until three in the morning, when those things are at their most active, and they won't let you go until then. They won't do anything to you, you can rest assured!"

I quickly checked the time. It was now 12: 30 and there was still two and a half hours left. There was no need to rush, so I felt a little better.

Only then did I finally be able to stand up and look around. I quickly found a headless corpse in the corner, and it was the only one that didn't glare at me.

I took a deep breath and told myself not to panic. I strode over to the body, shook my hands, and pushed it under the vent.

The air vent wasn't that high. I was about 1.7 meters tall, so I could reach the air vent by standing on the corpse bed. I picked up the corpse and placed it on the ground.

To be honest, it's impossible to carry a corpse without being afraid, but the thought of the ghost of the body not being here makes me feel less scared.

After that, I carefully climbed onto the corpse bed, pulled down the fence that blocked the air vent, and immediately jumped onto the ground. I then carried the corpse to the bed, only to discover that I didn't have the strength to carry the corpse through the air vent. I immediately became anxious; if I couldn't get it in, not to mention giving it to me for two and a half hours, I wouldn't be able to do anything for two and a half days, so I had to find a way to save energy.

I looked around again, hoping to find some kind of tool, but how could there be such a tool in the morgue?

I couldn't help but feel anxious. Am I supposed to give up on this corpse tonight? However, once he gave up, he would no longer have the chance to steal the corpse.

Suddenly, I noticed the shroud on the ground, and immediately found a way. I jumped off the bed and picked up a few pieces, rolled them up into a thick rope, and tied one end to the corpse while biting the other.

Then I put my foot on the edge of the vent and pulled on the rope to pull the body up.

In times of crisis, people have unimaginable potential. After wasting my strength, I finally managed to pull the corpse up to the air vent.

Finally, I untied the rope from the body and untied and unwrapped all the shroud so that there was no trace of a useful shroud for the body. I threw down everything but one piece of rope for the body.

Why did you do that?

Because I was stealing corpses, and if I threw the rope that was made from the shroud down, the police would find me.

But now it would be hard for the police to imagine that I had used the shroud to make a rope, and that I, a woman, would not have the strength to carry the corpses out of the open air vents with them, with their eyes all staring in one direction. When the police started investigating, I had good reason to believe that the body had run off on its own.

When that happens, the police will definitely assume that someone is trying to scare me away.

Then I turned on the flashlight on my cell phone and slowly dragged the body along the pipe. After a while, I noticed that there was a fence at the bottom of the pipe in front of me. This was the exit.

Delighted, I immediately pushed open the fence and threw the corpse down. It was also a sign of my resentment towards that ghost.

Then I jumped down and found that it was a doctor's office, and the window of the office led down to a lawn at the back of the hospital. There was no one around.

Seeing this, I decided to get the corpse down from here so that I could hide it from the security guards at the entrance.

Having made up my mind, I left the body here for the moment and hurried back to the morgue. I retrieved my handbag from the table and ran back to the office.

I took out the rope from my bag and tied one end around the corpse. I ran under the desk and tied the foot of the chair with the other end so that the heavy desk would block the chair, and pushed the corpse out of the window. The corpse fell straight down, but when I heard the chair crash against the heavy desk, the rope stretched out for a moment, just enough to hang the corpse on the second floor.

This rope is quite strong. I thought that I could only slow down the falling speed of the corpse for a moment before breaking it. But now, I'm hanging it in the air.

The corpse is already on the second floor, so it wouldn't make much noise even if it landed on the floor. Thus, I immediately let go of the rope on the chair and leaned towards the window to take a look, only to find that the corpse had successfully landed on the floor.

The corpse was finally in my hands. I immediately put away the rope and went downstairs.
