Jack returned home at five in the evening. He opened the front door and walked in to see Val sleeping on the sofa resting her head on the armrest with her hands under her cheeks. She looked so cute snuggling to the corner of the sofa.

He crouched down and lifted the bangs behind her ear. Val stirred at his caress and opened her eyes a little, she smiled at him and went back to sleep
