“I’m in a great mood today! I’m cooking for you!” Yufan was still basking in that warm moment when Mengxin jumped up excitedly and headed for the kitchen.

By the time he snapped out of it, she’d already taken a few steps. He hurried after her and caught her by the arm.

“Since you’re so happy, why don’t we go out to eat and take a walk?” Yufan suggested.
