C29 THE HOSPITAL

♦SOPHIE’S POV♦

I opened my eyes drowsily and what came to my vision was a masked face staring at me, before the white ceiling. The pain in my chest made me active. It must be the hospital, but because it’s a VIP ward, the antiseptic smell is almost non-existent. What the hell happened to me? Okay, now I remembered. The thugs attacked me at my restaurant.

“You shouldn’t move
