C4 MISSION BEGINS
•NARRATOR'S POV•
When Sophie saw the scary eyes, she bit the bullet and said, “I noticed that you were not allowed to enter. So, I wanted to give you a pass.”
Jordan, although knows that she was lying, accepted it because he needed it right now.
“Alright, lead the way.” Jordan said calmly.
Sophie immediately led the way into the club. When Jordan entered the club, he said to Sophie, “you can go do your things. I won't be accompanying you.” Before he disappeared in the crowd.
Sophie was stumped.
‘Who is accompanying whom? I helped him, but he didn't say anything. What an arrogant bastard!’ Sophie fumed.
Just then, Bella walked up to Sophie.
“Sophie, isn't that Andrew? You've already started seducing him. What a determined girl.” Bella said, with an understanding nod.
“Seduce who?” Sophie spat out before strutting away angrily.
“Did I say something wrong?” Bella muttered to herself.

•JORDAN'S/ANDREW'S POV•
I walked into the deepest part of the club, where I saw Ariel waiting for me. There was no security around, probably her orders. Ariel manages most of my businesses.
She was dressed in a blue knee-length gown that was short sleeves, which displayed her cleavages, and a white peep toe 6 inches (15.24 cm) heels with platform.
Immediately Ariel saw me, she ran, and hugged me tightly, before she forcefully planted a kiss on my lips.
That's how she behaves. Ariel was a teacher in my high school. She was nearly r•ped one night, and I was passing by the street at night. So, I saved Ariel on a whim, but after that day, she told me that she won't marry anybody apart from me. That's when I discovered that to me, it's a trivial matter, to her, it's a life-saving grace.
I thought it was a joke, but when my parents died when I was seventeen, she still followed me. Even when I put on the mask and become a devil, she still stayed by my side. If my parents did not die, then I would have married her, but I know my life. It is destined to be rough, and the people who killed my parents are terrifyingly strong. Fernando is considered weak among the people I'm up against. Fernando, who is considered weak, is already a terrifying billionaire.
“See how you've lost weight. Come here, I already cooked something. Let's go inside and eat.” Ariel pulled me inside, flashing me a genuine, bright smile.
When we got to the table, I just stared at her as she ate.
“Why aren't you eating?” Ariel noticed and asked me with a scrunched face.
I just gave her a forced smile and ate with her. After we were done, Ariel drove me to a five-star hotel she bought recently. Then she took me to the roof.
“Los Angeles is really cool at night.” Ariel said happily like a little girl. In front of others, she's a terrifying businesswoman, but in front of me, she's like a young girl in love. What surprises me is that her character never changed.
“Ariel,” I called her impassively.
“Yeah?” Ariel replied, flashing me a bright smile that made my heart ached because of my next action.
“You are laid off. I would rather not see you again. When I mean leave, I mean leave the country, and go to another country. The next time I see you, only death awaits you.” I said coldly before walking away to the elevator.
When I got to the ground floor, I looked at the stars in the sky. Although my heart aches, I felt accomplished. I was destined to be alone the day I wore a mask. As I was thinking about myself, I felt my eyes grew wet, as two lines of tears ran down my cheek, but the mask covered it.

•ARIEL'S POV•
When I heard Jordan's speech, I was stunned for a while. I thought he was joking until he walked away. Immediately, it felt like the whole world was working against me. My blood gave me a feeling of extreme coldness. I turned around, planning on jumping off from the seventieth (70th) floor, when I heard, “stop!”
I turned around, and I saw Blake Martins, Jordan's driver.
“Why are you here? To mock me for being too old to marry him? I never wanted a status or anything, but just wanted to be by his side and watch him. Is that too much to ask?” I screamed angrily at Blake with tears threatening to fall.
•NARRATOR'S POV•
Blake sighed when he saw how Ariel was behaving.
“Boss revenge is starting next week. You should know the kind of pressure he's facing right now.” Blake said calmly.
“So? I wanted to face the pressure with him.” Ariel retorted angrily.
“Listen! You're only thinking from your perspective. Have you ever wondered what will happen to him if you die? He has only his elder sister and you. He has lost almost everything when he was five. If you die, he might do something so drastic that it might cause world war III. At least, his heart is still beating slightly. If you die, he will be a real devil without a heart.” Blake said calmly.
“What about his elder sister? Can't she die?” Ariel asked softly.
“His elder sister is far from him, so her, being a suspect of the revenge, will not occur easily. Furthermore, his elder sister was in the military with a high rank before she retired to control her father's business.” Blake said.
“Why didn't he inform me?” Ariel asked with tenderness.
Blake could only sigh.
Ariel's eyes steeled as she decided.
“Fine! I will leave for Russia.” Ariel said calmly, no longer weak.
“Why are you going to Russia?” Blake asked with a strange expression which couldn't be seen due to his mask.
“You will find out in the future.” Ariel said calmly.

—THE NEXT DAY—
---
•JORDAN'S/ANDREW'S POV•
Today's class was boring as usual when my encrypted phone vibrated. I unlocked it, and I saw a text message from an unknown number.
‘They are close. The abandoned factory at Cross district. Help me, please!’
The message was concise, but I know the sender. It was from Amelia.
‘It hasn't been 24 hours, and the prey has entered the net.’ I thought as my right lips slowly turned upward into a lopsided smirk, making me look evil.
“Andrew! Why the evil lopsided smirk?” Chloe screamed at me.
Chloe Summer is the only lecturer who is not scared of me. She is our new lecturer for business investment course, and is twenty-one years old. She is the hottest teacher in the school.
“I didn't.” I denied aptly and expressionlessly.
“Then what did you do?” Chloe asked me with her left eyebrows lifted.
“I raised my lips.” I said impassively.
•CHLOE'S POV•
When I heard his reply, I nearly spat the water I drank a while ago.
I could only shake my head, and turn to the board to write.
‘Why do I have a feeling that, Andrew wants to leave the class? Right, the lectures hall is on the second, and the only door is beside me. He can't leave.’ I thought, but I still turned around immediately to check, and behold, Andrew's seat was empty.
‘I knew it! Where did he pass?’ I exclaimed inwardly, as I gnashed my teeth.
“Where is Andrew?” I screamed at the class angrily, as I pointed at Andrew's seat with trembling hands.
Everybody turned backward and was equally shocked.
•JORDAN'S POV•
I escaped from the lecture room through the window. It was just the second floor.
Immediately, I picked my encrypted phone and called Blake. Since last night, after I chased Ariel away, I never called Blake.
“Boss, any command?” Blake asked immediately.
“Send Amelia's location to Tyson thirty minutes later. Begin the infancy stage of the mission.” I said calmly.
