C50 Little Ancestor Are You Alright?

On Sunday, Su Rann and Lo Boyuan visited Ann Hao's hospital.

Lu Jinhan was tied up with unexpected business at the company and couldn't be there for Su Rann.

Xiaxuan had briefed Lo Boyuan on Su Rann's circumstances after returning yesterday.

Learning that Su Rann hadn't yet let Lu Jinhan into her heart brought a smile to his face that lasted all night.

Today, he appeared especially bright and lively, having taken extra care with his appearance.

Su Rann, in contrast, opted for a simple, casual look that highlighted her energetic and capable demeanor.

"Rann, you've arrived," greeted a man in black, pushing the wheelchair in Xiaxuan's absence.

"Let's go inside," said Su Rann, keeping Lo Boyuan at arm's length.

She maintained this measured distance with everyone, neither too close nor too distant, neither warm nor cold.

"Young Master, I'll go check in," announced the bodyguard in black.

Su Rann stood a short distance from Lo Boyuan, arms crossed, exuding an air of nonchalance.

A nearby nurse eyed Su Rann with scorn.

That must be Young Master Lo, right? I didn't expect him to have recovered so much!

And who's that woman with him? I've never heard any scandals about Young Master Lo. Look at her, what a sight!

Young Master Lo seems quite taken with her. Besides her looks, what does she have to flaunt?

What kind of fox-like tricks has she used? The young girls today are completely shameless!

The other nurses whispered among themselves, disparaging Su Rann as if she were worthless.

Su Rann, with one hand in her pocket, leaned against the wall nonchalantly.

Lo Boyuan set to work on his drawing board, sketching out lines with precision.

Out of nowhere, someone doused Su Rann with a basin of water.

"Shameless hussy, so young and already luring men. You're truly vile!" the nurse accused with self-righteous indignation.

Seeing a woman beside Lo Boyuan ignited a fury within her, which only intensified upon hearing the gossip of her peers.

Lo Boyuan attempted to rise, but was rendered helpless.

A profound sense of defeat, like none he had ever experienced, welled up inside him.

Su Rann's gaze swept over with an icy chill, yet the young nurse seemed utterly unfazed.

"Now that Young Master Lo is well, you show up to seduce him, don't you? You're nothing but a vixen!"

The nurse's mouth spewed all sorts of unsavory comments.

A cold aura enveloped Su Rann. Without giving the nurse time to react, she drenched her with the remaining basin of water.

"Is this the kind of manners your parents taught you? To be so impolite? If you want to douse someone with water, do it properly!"

Su Rann's actions were deliberate, the water gradually soaking through the nurse's clothes.

"You...!" The nurse was livid, her teeth clenched in anger. She couldn't believe she was being humiliated by this woman in the hospital!

"Have you learned your lesson, hmm?" Su Rann's intimidating presence deterred anyone from coming close.

Those who had been gossiping about her fell silent.

This woman was fierce indeed!

At that moment, Ann Hao came running down the stairs, having been delayed by some matters.

Seeing the dean arrive, the young nurse quickly adopted a look of distress, well aware of his protective nature.

She hoped to leverage the dean's authority to discipline this audacious woman.

"Director, this woman had the audacity to cause a scene in the hospital. She drenched me with water, showing no respect for you!" The nurse's eyes gleamed with triumph.

Crossing Ann Hao would surely make this woman's life difficult in Lan City!

"Indeed, Director, this woman soaked Little Tang completely. We all witnessed it!"

"This woman is truly malicious. Who would have thought she'd be so brazen in a hospital!"

...

"Enough!" Ann Hao's eyes darkened with anger. He rushed to Su Rann's side and removed his coat.

"Little Ancestor, are you okay?" As soon as Ann Hao spoke, the medical staff around them were taken aback.

What? The dean, who feared nothing and no one, was calling this woman Little Ancestor? What was happening?

"Quick, go to my room and take a hot shower. Don't catch a cold!" Ann Hao urged, sounding almost subservient.

The nurse trembled with fear upon witnessing the dean's behavior.

She understood the implications of crossing the hospital director, but why did that woman seem so unremarkable? And yet, why did the director lavish her with such praise?

"Xiao Tang, follow me!" Ann Hao's expression grew stormy, like the ominous night before a tempest.

He had gone to great lengths to bring this VIP to the hospital, only for a nurse to douse him with water?

He was still unaware of the repercussions of provoking Su Rann, but he was certain that angering Lu Jinhan could result in being fed to the sharks.

Su Rann refused the clothing offered by Ann Hao. "Director Ann, is this the level of professionalism in your hospital?!" Her gaze was piercing and icy, a hint of impatience flickering within.

Lo Boyuan's normally soft features hardened instantly. He was determined to settle the score with Ann Hao, whether Su Rann sought retribution or not.

"If Director Ann is so unwelcoming, we see no reason to remain. Rann, let's leave," Lo Boyuan declared, his voice tinged with fury.

"Young Master Lo, Young Master Lo!"

Ann Hao hurried forward, knowing that both Su Rann and Lo Boyuan were not to be trifled with.

Upon seeing Lo Boyuan's anger, the nurse rushed to his side.

"Young Master Lo, I'm at fault. I've been a fan for so long, collecting photos from your races. I mistakenly thought this woman was trying to entice you, which is why I splashed her," the nurse confessed remorsefully.

She couldn't let her mistake interfere with her idol's check-up.

"You don't need to apologize to me. I expect such incidents not to recur," he stated firmly. The thought of Su Rann being mistreated was intolerable to him.

He wished the water had been thrown on him instead. The recent events only intensified his resolve to regain his health quickly; otherwise, he wouldn't be able to protect those dear to him.

After Lo Boyuan spoke, the nurse approached Su Rann, head bowed, and whispered a barely audible "Sorry!" Her apology was insincere; deep down, she resented any woman who drew near her idol.

Regardless of whether her idol retained his former glory, her adoration for Lo Boyuan remained steadfast.

This love had escalated to the point of madness!

Su Rann paid no attention and strode away decisively.

She didn't require any apologies, nor had she ever accepted such insincere gestures of regret!
