C13 Blood War to the End

The disciples surged forward once again, like ravenous wolves, driven by the prospect of obtaining the Body Tempering Pill, fearless in the face of death.

Qin Ming stood in the arena, his primary goal being to enhance his real-world combat experience and skills. He was mastering the Low-grade Profound Rank Flat Heaven Seal with increasing proficiency.

As time wore on, nearly two hours had passed, and close to a hundred people lay in a heap, their cries of agony filling the air. Qin Ming had constructed a third layer of defeated opponents, making his platform stand twice as high as the other nine.

By leaving these disciples on the stage, he prevented others from challenging him repeatedly, conserving his strength. Otherwise, he would have already been overcome.

Yet, Qin Ming's complexion was ashen, his lips cracked from dehydration. To onlookers, he clearly seemed to be at the end of his rope. Elder Qin Shan watched, his anxiety so intense it was as if he were sweating bullets.

Qin Darui was ready to intervene, but Qin Hao held him back.

"What are you doing? He's spent. Are you willing to just watch him collapse?" Qin Darui exclaimed in frustration.

The alchemists were a tight-knit group; they would never just watch one of their own struggle without offering aid.

The faces of the disciples were etched with discontent. Had it not been for the deep respect they held for Qin Hao within the Refining Faction, they might have already taken action against him.

"If you trust me, wait a bit longer," Qin Hao murmured, his voice resonating with unwavering conviction.

The crowd fell silent, their restlessness momentarily quelled.

In a display of his frustration, Qin Darui snapped a tree trunk as thick as a bowl, releasing his pent-up anger.

Qin Hao shook his head, feeling a sense of resignation. He had been ready to intervene and rescue Qin Ming, but the sight of Qin Ming's indomitable spirit gave him pause, and he decided to hold back Qin Darui and the others.

"Darui, go find Deacon Qing Hua and ask him something," Qin Hao whispered into Qin Darui's ear.

With a puzzled look, Qin Darui hurried off the practice field.

The relentless battle raged on. Qin Ming inhaled deeply, steeling himself.

As more combatants fell, Qin Ming sustained injuries from the onslaught of the last few Third Phase of Spirit Founding Stage disciples. His blood stained the pile of bodies.

Overwhelmed and fatigued, Qin Ming's strength waned. Attacks he might have dodged with ease before now landed as his body struggled to keep pace.

"This time, you're all guaranteed to secure a Body Tempering Pill. The question is, who will be the one to take him down?" Qin Feng called out incessantly.

Qin Wu's lips curled into a cruel smile.

"Qin Ming, step down from the stage," urged Qin Shan, unable to contain himself any longer.

Qin Hao and the others also clenched their fists, silently urging him on.

If Qin Ming voluntarily left the arena, it would mean forfeiting the selection process and losing the chance to compete in the Newcomer Large Competition.

Without competing in the Newcomer Large Competition in Mobei City, how would he ever avenge Little White?

"Qin Xianer, you will regret ever being born," he vowed silently.

Qin Ming remained silent, yet his gaze was resolute.

Over one hundred and sixty disciples lay defeated.

Qin Ming's hands shook slightly, his body riddled with wounds.

As the number surpassed one hundred and ninety, Qin Ming coughed up blood, standing atop nearly two hundred fallen disciples, his legs shaking uncontrollably.

Below the stage, fear gripped the other disciples. Time and again, Qin Ming seemed on the brink of collapse, but each time, he miraculously endured. He stood like an invincible war deity, guarding the final threshold.

"Qin Ming has awakened the Archean Strange Beast bloodline; we must intervene," declared Qin Shan, rising to his feet. He was acutely aware that Qin Ming had pushed his body to its limits and was at risk of dying from exhaustion.

"We should honor the choice of our disciple. Since he has not yielded, he may still possess the power to fight," Qin De said with a sinister grin.

Stepping in front of Qin Shan, Qin De feigned benevolence.

"Elder Qin De, what are you implying? Are you plotting against a prodigy of our clan?" Qin Shan demanded, his voice laden with anger.

Qin Ming's reawakening of the Archean Strange Beast bloodline promised a future of boundless potential.

Only three in the clan had awakened an Archean Bloodline: Qin Xianer with her Green Phoenix Bloodline, Qin Wu with his Archean Barbarian Bear Bloodline, and now, Qin Ming.

"Genius or not, he has no right to slaughter our clan's disciples with impunity. I've already shown great mercy by giving him this opportunity," Qin De revealed, his facade slipping away to expose his true intentions.

Qin De's intentions were crystal clear—he intended to thwart Qin Shan's intervention, ensuring that Qin Ming would collapse and die from exhaustion in the arena.

Years ago, Qin De's son wreaked havoc within the clan, prompting Qin Sheng to strip him of his Bloodline Power, sowing seeds of resentment deep within Qin De's heart.

Now, with Qin Ming's powers reawakened and Qin Sheng having left the family for years, Qin De was determined to destroy Qin Ming and exact revenge for past grievances.

"The fault lies with your son for the incident back then. I never imagined you could be so petty. Today, we settle this once and for all."

Qin Shan, who had awakened the Bloodline of the Sky Bull, effortlessly shattered a nearby stone table.

"I'm not afraid of you," declared Qin De, as his Ninth Phase of Spirit Founding Stage Bloodline Power surged forth.

The commotion from the two Elders brought all the disciples below to a standstill.

"Great Sun Fist!"

Years earlier, Qin Shan had been taken under Qin Sheng's wing, learning several martial arts techniques. Now, he was demonstrating them for the first time before his clan.

Channelling Blood Qi into his arms, Qin Shan's fists glowed brilliantly, unleashing a scorching tempest that made the onlookers wince in pain, some unable to even keep their eyes open.

With just one blow, Qin De was sent flying, his blood scattering across the sky above the training field.

"A Profound Rank Martial Skill," Qin De gasped in shock, his pupils constricting with fear.

"Cease!" boomed a commanding voice from above.

Qin Zhenhsing, the current Chief of the Qin Family, stood resplendent in his black robe, exuding the presence of the First Stage Pulse Stage.

"Chief," Qin Shan began urgently.

But Qin Zhenhsing cut him off, saying, "I am aware that Qin Ming has indeed awakened the Archean Strange Beast bloodline, but the fact remains that he has committed murder. We will proceed as Qin Feng suggested and let them resolve their issues in the arena."

He sighed, a look of profound disappointment in his eyes. "It seems I was the one who misjudged him."

Qin Ming had once sacrificed his Fire Cloud Flood Dragon bloodline for the clan, reducing himself to a cripple. Qin Zhenhsing had bestowed the Blood Brave Token upon him, hoping it would inspire a resurgence and potentially save Qin Ming's life in a dire moment. Yet, Qin Ming's actions, having taken the life of a clan member, had left Qin Zhenhsing utterly disheartened.

Qin Shan attempted to argue, but was silenced by the piercing gaze of Qin Zhenhsing.

"Chief, your wisdom is unparalleled," Qin De sneered, casting a sidelong glance at Qin Shan.

"I seek vengeance for Qin Hu," declared Qin Wu, stepping forward and raising his arm.

Over a hundred disciples surged towards Qin Ming under the watchful eye of Qin Zhenhsing.

"Then let us battle with all our might."

Qin Ming's voice resonated like the roar of a cornered beast as he glared fiercely at the disciples below him.

His constitution, akin to the Indestructible Body, allowed him to continuously heal. Without it, he would have succumbed to exhaustion long ago.

Time wore on, and the number of fallen disciples grew, while Qin Ming's Azure Dragon Bloodline began to wane.

Nearly two hundred and forty disciples lay strewn across the arena.

Qin Ming hung his head, his battle robe soaked in blood, billowing in the wind like a forlorn monarch.

"Just give up, you fool," Qin Shan said, his eyes glistening with unshed tears.

The moans of nearly two hundred and seventy disciples filled the air.

Qin Ming was gravely wounded, his body marked by ghastly gashes that revealed bone beneath torn flesh.

"Qin Ming, please, give up. Come down from there," the alchemy disciples pleaded in chorus, their voices tinged with tears and concern.

Despite his unsteady stance, Qin Ming showed no sign of descending from the stage.

As night descended, the few remaining disciples on the stage were all at the Third Phase of the Spirit Founding Stage, making the fight exceedingly challenging. Qin Ming had suffered three broken ribs, and eventually, every last disciple in the arena was downed.

Their plaintive cries echoed as they lay defeated around Qin Ming, who stood drenched in blood, his crimson eyes devoid of warmth. He loomed over the scene from the pinnacle of the pagoda, resembling a malevolent spirit freed from a hellish tower.

After nearly three hundred brutal battles, Qin Ming's stamina was depleted.

His Blood Qi had vanished, yet he remained standing, towering over the arena, surveying the crowd below.

Qin Shan quickly stood up, raising his voice, "There's no one left now. Let's put an end to this feud."

"I can fight you!"

A furious roar erupted from beneath the stage.

Qin Feng, with eyes bloodshot and a hint of madness, brandished a long spear he had procured from somewhere. He ascended the human staircase to the pinnacle of the arena, pointing the weapon directly at Qin Ming.

His mentality had shattered. Qin Ming had crippled one of his arms, and his plan to lean on Qin Hu had fallen apart with Qin Hu's unexpected death.

"Prepare to die, Qin Ming."
