C9

The biggest wolf opened its mouth wide and bit into the tiger's belly. The huge bite tore out a piece of tiger meat and as it raised its head to take a bite, it slowly chewed. The other wolves watched on from the side, confused. Not long after, the wolf seemed to have eaten its fill and retreated. The other wolves pounced on it and began to bite it. Qi Xing could not help but feel like vomiting, but he resisted the urge to take a look. After a long while, Qi Xing fell asleep on a branch of the tree. Fortunately, the criss-crossing of the tree branches helped Qi Xing avoid falling down, and of course, Qi Xing wasn't completely unprotected. Before Qi Xing climbed onto the tree, he found two rattan vines and tied himself to the branch before going to sleep to ensure his safety. He was really too tired. As a result, the beast fight under the tree did not wake Qi Xing up. This night, Qi Xing had a dream. In this dream, Qi Xing could gather water from the water vat every day and chop down all the firewood. At noon, he would no longer have to go hungry to find wild fruits ?

In this night, there were only the occasional wolf howl and the unexplainable howls of wild beasts. The moon gradually disappeared into the clouds and the sky began to brighten.

Qi Xing opened his hazy eyes and saw himself on a big tree. His eyes darkened. His heart was always in pain. Qi Xing shook his head and looked towards the tiger python's direction. However, it was surprisingly quiet without the slightest movement. Qi Xing also ignored the others as he climbed down the tree and picked a stick that could be used. Suddenly, he wanted to go back and have a look, as if he was unwilling to do so.

As they drew closer and closer, the scene slowly appeared before their eyes. The grass was in a mess, and the fallen trees were covered in blood. There were also scattered bones and bits of flesh, as well as tiger fur and a small amount of python skin. Beneath the tigers and serpents, the ground was a deep purple. The tiger's stomach was completely hollowed out, leaving only a pile of bones, while the giant python only had a single head, looking extremely pale with some of the python's skin. The corpses were already crawling with flies and were buzzing.

His little face was filled with disgust, and he felt as if he were about to vomit. After using the stick in his hand to drive away the flies, Qi Xing was a little disappointed. He angrily rolled up the python skin and prepared to hit it twice, bringing it out of the pile of minced meat. Qi Xing blinked his eyes in disbelief. He couldn't believe his eyes. What he saw in the meat was a snake gall, the size of a snake gall was even smaller than his fist. Qixing could tell at a glance that it was snake gall because his father used to catch two snakes at home from time to time to cook the snake soup. Naturally, one could often see how snake gall was. Although it was a bit big this time, Qi Xing was still able to recognize it at a glance. He remembered his father's act of devouring snake gall.

Qi Xing swallowed his saliva and then rushed forward. He carefully picked up the snake gall and held it in his hand. The snake gall's surface was already a bit dry. Qixing no longer thought about why the snake gall was so small. After changing the stick, Qi Xing picked a direction and rushed out. He was now very excited. He needed to find a water source, otherwise, he would not be able to swallow his anger. He was truly afraid that the snake gall would be completely destroyed in a short while.

The morning sun slowly came out. Multicolored light filled the sky, and the morning air was incomparably clear. Unfortunately, Qi Xing didn't have the mood to enjoy it.

He had finally found a source of water, a stream, and he quickly bent over it. He carefully dipped the snake gall into the water and drank a few mouthfuls. Then, he raised the snake gall and put it into his mouth. Suddenly, his eyes started to tear up, and he felt as if his throat had been blocked. The whole snake gall was like hanging in its throat, it could not be swallowed.
