C1 Initial Mutation

"We have him under control. He's in the reception room."

"Wait a minute, you mean to say you put a guy like that in the middle of a bunch of cops who don't know anything?"

The man hurriedly got in the car. The person who was following him was knocked on the head by the car door without seeming to be doing it on purpose.

He was very angry, but he did not reveal it. The warm anger flowed between his brows, but it did not erupt.

"But he seems to be cooperating."

The lackey realized that what he had done had angered his superior, so he lowered his previous humble tone even more.

"Just looking, just looking!"

The man inside slapped the back of the driver's seat and slammed the door shut.

"I don't need to care about the traffic rules for now. I just need to avoid any accidents."

"Yes, sir."

"..."

"Idon: Tunderstandwhatyou: reacting!"

He had an Asian face, and every detail of that face had the same origin as the officer sitting in front of him.

But he spoke the language of the Others directly to the "people," without any trace of learning, as if that were his mother tongue.

"weareealingwith youproblem, pleasewaitamant."

The policeman tried his best to calm the man sitting opposite him. They had already checked everything that could prove his identity. None of them were fake.

So why?

The message he received was to intercept him. There was no other instruction, although his conscience was being condemned. After all, no matter how he looked at it, he was making things difficult for a foreign friend.

At least the nationality was foreign.

He was still persevering, using all sorts of new policies that he had invented to stall for time.

"Oh, shit."

He looked like he was about to explode with anger, and he ran a hand through his hair.

Just then the door opened.

"Sir!"

The policeman stood up and saluted, and his eyes indicated that he could leave.

This was not an easy task. He was clearly facing a seemingly powerless young man.

Apart from the condemnation from his conscience, he actually felt a little bit nervous.

Probably the first contact with a real foreign traveler since graduating from the police academy.

The officer left quickly, with no intention of staying.

"The Boss." Couldyoupleasetellmethat sgoingon? "

The man sat down where the policeman had been.

He rested his hands on the table and took a few deep breaths, trying to find a suitable beginning.

"You …"

"F * ck!"

However, the first to speak was the young man who had been speaking English.

He looked to be in his early twenties, with some unshaven stubble on his chin, the clothes on his shoulders, and the marks from the pack that had just been pressed against him.

When he spoke of the particular Chinese curse, he was just as adept and had blurted it out.

"Is your efficiency so low? It was clearly a very simple investigation, yet it took so long. "

The young man tapped the knuckles of his index finger on the table.

The position of the questioner and the person being questioned was reversed.

"Phew, from their feedback, I thought you didn't know how to speak Chinese."

"Not really. It's just interesting to see the anxious look on the little agent's face."

"This is not a question of our efficiency, but your problem is not being solved here."

"Oh my god!"

The young man leaned back and the soft back of the chair bent over him.

"I'm just a tourist, but you guys have detained me for such a long time. Don't you want me to leave? What can I say to the consul of my country?"

The young man raised his wrist. The machine was still rotating in an orderly manner.

"Thirty-seven minutes. Maybe you can give me a good explanation right now."

He was greeted with a smile. Perhaps his purpose was to anger the person in front of him with a sudden change of attitude.

He had failed.

As expected.

"Don't we all know that you're not here to travel?"

The man lowered his hand and placed it on the table.

Sitting in the chair, he tiptoed slightly. It was a battle stance.

If a conflict was about to break out, he wanted to strike first.

However, there were too many uncertainties. He wasn't even sure if the person in front of him was worth it for him to act with, or if it was simply impossible for someone of his level to do so.

"Sigh, I just hate being so clear about things like this."

The young man ruffled his hair. His gaze swept over the man in front of him.

Having been seen through, the man muttered in his heart. He had tried his best to conceal himself, even moving the muscles of his calves, but he was still easily seen through.

"Since you want to speak frankly, then let's talk that way."

In the blink of an eye.

The young man rose from his lying position with only a fraction of a second.

Then the table that a man used to support himself was smashed to pieces.

The last thing he saw was the young man's open palm. He felt pain, as if the pain had reached him after his dizziness.
