C10 The Emergence of Talent!
A powerful force surged through her body, coursing through every limb and sending a tingling sensation that made Qin Luoyao shiver and tense up. Qin Tianling, with his other hand, released a strong energy, capturing Qin Luoyao's other hand, allowing the energy to enter her body from both sides.
Qin Luoyao focused intently on the presence of this energy, marveling at its strength and mystery, realizing it could control a person's body. She felt the two forces converge in her lower abdomen, where they lingered, occasionally swirling, giving her a sense of familiarity.
The energies collided and seemed to merge, continuing without pause. After what felt like a long time, the two forces suddenly dissipated. From her lower abdomen, a more formidable energy burst forth, quickly spreading throughout her body. The warm flow invigorated Qin Luoyao, making her acutely aware of the powerful force within her.
"It's done," Qin Tianling said, withdrawing his hand and looking at Qin Luoyao. "Focus your energy in your core, concentrate, guide the energy through a small cycle, and gradually calm the surging energy."
Following Qin Tianling's instructions, Qin Luoyao obediently calmed the swirling energy within her, bringing it back to her core. Strangely, she sensed the presence of a white pearl in her abdomen, and she could clearly see it. This realization surprised her.
"Child, concentrate. Your psychic force resides in your mind. See how much you have," Qin Tianling's voice came again. Qin Luoyao closed her eyes and steadied her mind. Though unsure how to assess her psychic force, she focused on her mind, suddenly envisioning a vast expanse of blackness.
It was a rolling sea, but not of water. It was an endless ocean of night, with mysterious things swirling, shrouded in a black glow.
"Is this what psychic force feels like?" Qin Luoyao wondered, unsure if this was truly it.
"Ancestor, I can't tell how vast my psychic force is; I can't find its boundaries," Qin Luoyao mused, her thoughts swirling in the ocean of her mind for what seemed like ages, yet she found no edges, no end. She was genuinely puzzled.
Qin Tianling listened, a flicker of surprise crossing his eyes before he nodded with understanding. "Ha! Truly a descendant of the Qin family. To possess such a gift brings great honor to us!"
Despite Qin Tianling's unabashed praise, Qin Luoyao remained composed. Just having psychic force wasn't enough for her; she wanted more.
"Ancestor, can I start learning magic now?" Qin Luoyao asked.
Magic was a fascinating concept, allowing one to control natural elements, and she was eager to explore it. Watching her brother manipulate water elements piqued her curiosity even more.
When it came to unknown but powerful things, she always had a determined attitude to acquire them.
"Well, child, it depends on whether you have the talent," Qin Tianling replied thoughtfully. "Psychic force is the foundation. Many professions stem from it, each requiring specific talents. Without them, you can't train in those fields."
This was new information for Qin Luoyao, and she listened intently to every word Qin Tianling spoke.
"Close your eyes and meditate. Let's see if you have a talent for magic," Qin Tianling instructed. "Natural elements are wondrous things, present in every breath of air. You must earnestly feel them to discover their presence and further unravel their mysteries. Now, begin your meditation and feel."
Qin Luoyao nodded, closed her eyes, and began to meditate earnestly.
In the realm of meditation, it was an endless expanse of darkness. With her eyes shut, she saw nothing, but she focused on sensing everything.
She tried to approach, touch, capture, and analyze every subtle ripple in the air around her...
