C16 Bullying Others too Much!
The Yang family was the largest and most influential in this small town, holding sway over its affairs. Their mansion, though seemingly upscale, had an air of newfound wealth, with its vast grounds and lavish decor.
In one of the courtyards, a group of servants was scattered about. A middle-aged man, heavyset with a round face, sat on a stone bench under a large tree. His attire spoke of his status, and two maids stood respectfully behind him. Beside him was Yang Qing.
"Wasn't the little rascal supposed to be here? What's Mr. Yang up to?" The man in the center, Qin Yuxiao, had a stern expression. Seeing the crowd of servants, he realized he had been deceived.
Yang Bahu let out a hearty laugh that echoed through the courtyard. "Your worthless sister pushed my Qing three days ago, and you dared defy my family's orders and strike my servants. Do you know what you've done?" Yang Bahu glared at Qin Yuxiao, his jowls shaking with each indignant word, a rather unpleasant sight.
Qin Yuxiao clenched his fists at his sides, suppressing his irritation. He spoke quietly, "The Qin family has always been law-abiding in this town, never harming others. Why do you keep pushing us?"
"Pushing you?" Yang Bahu's sharp voice grated on the ears, making Qin Yuxiao frown. "You claim I'm pushing you? You have some nerve. You hit my people and then accuse my family of bullying. If I don't teach you a lesson today, you'll forget who really runs this town!" With that, Yang Bahu signaled to two servants waiting nearby.
Two servants received the order and immediately approached Qin Yuxiao.
"Don't force my hand; I don't want to hurt anyone," Qin Yuxiao said, taking a barely noticeable step back, his eyes fixed on the two servants with a dangerous warning glinting in them.
Yang Bahu sneered, "Qin Yuxiao, don't think you're something special just because you're a mage. My Qing is a mage too."
Yang Qing, the one mentioned, lifted his head proudly, exuding the same overbearing demeanor as Yang Bahu.
In this small town, being a mage was indeed a rare profession. There were only four mages here, and they were known for harnessing the elements of nature to enhance their combat abilities, making them the most formidable profession in town.
"Mr. Yang, I'm just here to find my sister. Why must you use your power to bully others? I've tolerated you for so many years; isn't that enough?" Qin Yuxiao said coldly, his voice tinged with impatience and a barely restrained anger.
Now that Qin Luoyao had changed, no longer the timid little girl she once was, he felt at ease. His goal was to protect her better and provide her with more opportunities, not to endure endless bullying.
Yang Bahu was infuriated by these words. How dare anyone accuse him of bullying? He was the king of this town and wouldn't tolerate such insults.
"Teach this arrogant kid a lesson. Make sure he ends up as useless as his sister!" Yang Bahu sneered, his eyes flashing with ruthless malice.
